I read MANY of the previous reviews on this item and I must disagree with all of the negatives. I'm not sure if some of the people are overweight or are expecting the quality of a $2000 chair for [$]. My husband (who's a mechanic) put this chair together in 15 minutes. At first, it squeaked when moved, but when someone was sitting in it it was dead silent. It only makes noise when rocked with no weight in it. There was another review I read about the back not being secure. I completely disagree. I sat on my husband's lap (while pregnant) in this chair and leaned back and rocked. Our combined weight didn't even make the back budge. It's extremely smooth and quiet. There is MORE than enough padding with our combined weight of 290lbs... Not sure why people are saying there isn't enough padding?? If the seat is assembled PROPERLY and all the screws are tightened again after assembly, there are no flaws. It matches our espresso bedroom set perfectly as well. I honestly have NO complaints about this chair and I'm the pickiest person I know!

Overall we like this product. We were looking for something that was compact and not to bulky as I found a lot of the gliders to be. We also didn't want to spend over $250. This product satisfied both of those needs. It looks really nice in the nursery and fits perfect. We have a small baby's room at 10x12x8 in dimensions. It's a solid product and seems very durable (baby doesn't arrive till October).

However, the padding is VERY thin and not as plush and comfy as other gliders. I don't find it to be uncomfortable but there are better products out there.

After a few days of contemplating we decided to keep it as the size works, it looks nice, the price was right and overall it's a "decent" product for the cost.

IT is an amazing glider, its not big and bulky like most glider but it is still able to accommodate my 6"3 240 pounds husband and me being 5"5 125 pounds. It is no squeaky like previous post have described. We have used it on a regular basis for the past year and it is still like new. Very easy to clean. and the color combination of the oatmeal and dark wood is just perfect, it matches with everything.

We chose this glider for it's looks and low cost. It is very easy to assemble and does look great in our nursery. My only complaint so far is the seat cushion is as hard as a rock. I can't imagine this will be too comfy right after I give birth. We'll see....

Very nice glider and easy to put together, I did it alone while my husband was at work! My only complaint is there are no pockets but is advertised that there are. Overall, I'm very happy and can't wait to use when the baby gets here!

We use this product to rock our baby to sleep every night. After 1 month it started falling apart. At 2 months it makes a lot of noise and makes rocking very unpleasant. Total waste of money. Avoid this rocker at all costs!

After 9 months of pregnancy full of back aches and giving birth to a 9 lb boy, the last thing I needed was an uncomfortable chair that added to my back issues.. My son is now 4 months old and gets rocked to sleep every time he goes down, and I sit in pain every time I do it. The padding is horrible, the arms could be taller, and it makes a loud clicking and squeaking sound with every rock. Sadly to day, after spending [$] on this product I am already looking to purchase a better quality glider after only 4 months of using it.

The cushion intended for the seat bottom is used as a padding for transit. The result is a permanent crease in the front of the seat cushion.
