I have been using this monitor for two months. I love that you don't need batteries for the parent unit and that it comes with rechargeable ones. I like the fact that it has a temp sensor and alarm even though we don't use it. I know that it is extremely accurate in regards to the temp because it always reads the same temp as my digital thermostat in the house. I would have given this five stars but there is one thing I don't like: I have slight trouble hearing to begin with and find that even at level five it is not as loud as other monitors out there. I need to keep the parent unit within five feet of ear shot to be able to hear it - which is easy with the belt clip. I just wish it was a little louder - otherwise it is a fantastic product and amazing price.

I purchased this product because it was the right price and was what I was looking for: audio only. The "comfort zone" alarm is completely pointless and beeps like an alarm clock all hours of the night. You're supposed to be able to turn it off. But even when I turned it off, it wouldn't register and the alarm still goes off when the temp in the nursery is fine. We're about to have a newborn in our room and I am trashing this monitor because if it goes off and wakes up my newborn, it's going out the window! Also, after only six months, the digital screen has gone patchy and then blank. This thing is a piece of garbage and I know why it's so inexpensive. It shouldn't even be on the shelves.

I had done a lot of research about baby monitors before making this purchase. I figured I would not need a monitor until I moved my baby to his own room, but upon returning home from the hospital I soon found out how necessary it truly was just for everyday things like running downstairs for laundry or taking the dog out during naps. I stumbled across this one while I was browsing the clearance section. I read all the reviews and figured for the price it would be worth a try. Once I got this home and plugged in I was extremely impressed. I was shocked at how high quality this product is considering there was not a huge price tag attached to it. This monitor is actually nicer than some of the pricier ones on the market. The parent receiver can be plugged in or mobile, and does not require batteries which is nice. The baby stationary monitor is compact and picks up even the tiniest noises from across the nursery. The range when the handset is mobile is sufficient to take across the house, downstairs in the basement, and outside to get the mail. I feel very secure using this product overnight with my baby. I recommend this product to any parents that do not need a video monitor for their baby.

Even though this product says it only has a range of 900 feet it does work great in our 2 story house. I have had no issue with range. The reason I will be returning this product ASAP is that it wont hold a charge for anything. I leave the parent receiver on the charger all day and at night I take it upstairs and less than 4 hours later it dies, no matter what I do. I have been testing it out with my 18 month old before my newborn gets here in a couple of days and I need something more reliable. I guess if you always have it plugged in then it might be a great unit for the price but we have two stories and I'm not going to always have it plugged in and don't want to always worry if its dead or not.

I read all of the reviews before purchasing but the sale price was so great that I figured it was worth trying out. I have not regretted it at all! For a "cheap" monitor it works great. Admittedly our house isn't very big (about 1000sf total) but we haven't had any issues with either being too close or too far to get a signal. The reception is also fantastic, and I love that there is a visual indicator as well as sound. As the manual says, you could turn the sound all the way down and just use the lights. Please note that I have not used it with batteries so I cannot comment on this functionality, but I have high hopes :) Oh, and personally I find the temperature alarm to be fantastic (there is no heat in the babies room so it is hard to gauge the temperature in there). For those that really hate this please note that you CAN change the "range" to be very high & low which would essentially turn it off for you. Anyway, I think it's a great monitor and if this one were to break I would definitely purchase another.

This really is a great monitor for the price. If you want a simple audio monitor, buy this one. We use this to hear my daughter at night. We only have used this monitor with both the baby and parent parts plugged in all the time- no batteries. We have this monitor so we can hear her at night in our bedroom, so I can't speak to the range of this monitor as we don't walk around with it. I can say it doesn't interfere with our laptop, iPhone or iPad.

The monitor provides crystal clear sound- I can hear the slightest noise in my daughter's room. The volume adjusts up to Level 5 (where we keep it). The volume is fine provided your room is quiet- ours is. One thing I really like is the monitor has red lights that light up when there is noise in baby's room- the more lights, the louder the noise.

The temperature feature is a bit odd. Ours flashes 2 temps all the time- which one is it? We simply use a thermometer in the room.

If you want a no frills monitor that does the job so you can hear your baby clearly and that is reasonably priced, this monitor is for you.

Works just fine. it comes with rechargeable batteries for the parent unit. I can hear my baby even when I'm in the shower. I haven't tested the range really soi couldn't tell you how far it works. the only annoying thing is that when you turn off the baby unit before the parents unit it makes the parent unit beep also the temperature alert setting is annoying. overall its well worth the money.

Works great downstairs and outside! Couldn't beat the price, so I gave it a shot. Glad I did, it works great!

we used the monitor one time. the second time we attempted to use it the parent monitor would not turn on. we plugged it into the ac cord and it still would not turn on.
