This has been a life saver!! I have had a lot of trouble keeping my child in his room at bedtime. This has been the perfect solution! Could not be happier! Fits on the door without any problems. Easy to use and remove when necessary. I love that he can't pinch his fingers if he does try to open the door.

Its a great product. I use on my pantry door and coats closet. It helps to prevent my toddler from pulling stuff. Glad I bought it. I would recommend it over other safety door locks, as there is no drill required and its very easy to install.

The lock works fine, IF it fits your door. The door I intended to use it on, the bathroom, once we attached it to the door, the door would not close. We do live in an older home. Some of the door frames are not square so there was not space for the door to close properly with the lock attached. However, on our bedroom door it fits and works fine.

The doors in our apartment have lever handles, we originally bought the safety first lever handle locks. My 2 year old pulled on the handle hard enough that the lock fell off! Then we found these! A real life saver! They are easy to install and they are tall enough that neither one of our daughters can unlock them! It comes with an allen wrench so you don't need tools for installation. They are for interior doors only. We have one on almost every door in our house! Only complaint is if you let it hit the door jam when closing the door it leaves scuff marks. Easily avoided by pushing the lever away from the door jam when you shut it. Happy Toddler Proofing! :)

The concept is good, but this product does not work on all door frames. It did not work on ours, which made this product a complete waste of money. Buyer beware.

I needed a high lock to keep my 5 year old out of rooms that ate not safe. I installed it on two doors. It did not catch the door frame on either door. I have rounded molding. There was one door that seemed like it was going to work, then my five year old just opened the door a little harder and it ceased to keep the door closed. I was very disappointed and packed up the locks for a refund.

This product does not work out our doors or any of our parents doors. I get the idea, but you need the specific door its designed for.

We used this product to keep one of our children in his room while he was falling asleep at night. He took longer than his older brother and would constantly sneak into his brothers room and wake him up. At the time, our baby was a newborn who shared a room with older brother and he wanted to climb into her crib to say hello. This was not safe. So, while he was taking his time falling asleep in his own room, we used this lock. We had to add a small square block of wood to our door frame in order to get the lock to catch. Worked well. Remember, always unlock just after they fall asleep for fire safety and mid-night trips to the bathroom! I recommend setting a timer to remind you if you think you'll likely forget.

Our toddler figured out every lock that even some adults couldn't get open. THis product is out of reach of him, I didn't have to put any holes in my doors, and it makes sure he stays out of areas I want and keeps him safe from pinched fingers.

This review doesn't do it justice but I will not by any other child lock.....ever. Truly the best and worth the price.

Perfect product and what a deal. It leaves just enough room to peak in and for our small cat to squeeze through. It is sturdy enough to stop a determined child yanking and slamming through and breaking like other products. I usually rely on my husband to install everything since I am useless in this department but as soon o opened the box and glanced at the picture I didn't even need instructions. I am going to buy more of these for other doors in my house and you can pop them off easily and take them with you for travel. You will not regret this purchase.
