This jumper works well but I wish the strap were able to be shortened more so my son could use it now. I'm not sure if he was late to the bouncing game but now at almost 8 months he finally LOVES bouncing. And at 19lb, 28in he barely fits the jumper anymore. It just hangs too low even at the shortest setting - his little knees almost touch the floor in it.

I got this jumper for my granddaughter to use at my home. After having gotten another jumper that was "useless" and extremely hard to make work, I was concerned about this one. However, I read the comments and felt it was okay to buy. I WON!!! The unit went together quickly and easily. The "jumper" part works!!!! It is easy for my tiny
granddaughter to make it "jump". (The other unit I had, the spring was so stiff it would not "jump" at all, even with my husband yanking on it!) This jumper attaches easily to the doorjam. It easily adjusts to the height of the child. The floor mat is interesting. My baby does not yet understand that her feet placement is making the various additional sounds, but her grin makes you understand that she is enjoying the bounce and music. I would recommend this product!

MY 8 MONTH OLD SON LOVES HIS JUMP N JIVE JUMPER. I INTRODUCED HIM TO THIS PRODUCT AS SOON AS HE HAD GOOD HEAD STABILITY. HE CAN SIT THERE AND JUMP AND LAUGH WHILE IM CLEANING ETC. THE MUSIC THAT PLAYS FROM THE MAT WHEN HE JUMPS MAKES HIM MORE EXCITED TO CONTINUE JUMPING. I BELIEVE ITS HELPED HIM STRENGTHEN HIS LEGS. OVERALL I THINK ITS A GREAT PRODUCT BECAUSE IT HELPS ENTERTAIN MY SON SO I CAN DO MY HOUSEHOLD CHORES AND HE ENJOYS IT SO MUCH THAT IT MAKES ME HAPPY TO SEE HIM HAVING FUN.

We were given the older model of this jumper without the mat as a gift from a friend. Her daughter used it and my son absolutely loved it as well. He would play so much and hard in it that he tuckered himself out most times. The tray is easy to clean and the straps allow you to add additional toys around them to give your teething baby something to play with and teeth on other than the straps. The mat on this model sounds like a great addition. The only slightly negative thing I can say about this product is that it is a little awkward getting your baby out, but not bad enough to shy away from using it - you get the hang of it eventually. Our doorways are very tight so we strapped it to our overhead walkway rail and zip tied the clamps to the straps. It was very secure and allowed for some more swing room. We obviously never left him unattened while in it and it was right by our couch. We are expecting our 2nd child in March and plan on using it again for her.

My 4 month old loves this. It is perfect for when I need to prepare dinner or pick up around the house. He gets so excited to jump, especially because the mat plays music. This is one of my favorite things for the baby, and I wouldn't want to go without it.

I was a little nervous to at first to put her in it. I thought is was possibly unstable. It is totally safe. I have no concerns once I saw her in it. She is only 3 months, but very strong. I figured I would let her give it a try. I put her in it for about 10 minutes. When I took her out, she was fussing. So back in she went. She was all smiles! Just to be able to see the house from a different view seemed to amaze her! She is now obsessed with it! Plus, the music is an added bonus! I attached a photo of her after about 15-20 minutes in this. She is wiped out!

My daughter, now 10 months, has been using this jumper since 4 months and still is not bored with it. That alone says a lot. I received this as a gift for my baby shower; if I hadn't, I probably would have gone with the stationary kind of jumper that doesn't get hung from a doorway and not purchased an exersaucer. I prefer the versatility, since not all of my doorways have molding around them. Baby loves the music mat, and I cut a circle of rubber rug stop to place under it so she can't kick it out from her feet. I like that the mat has 2 volume levels so the sound doesn't have to take over the house. My baby is tall, and chubby for her age, though. It wasn't long before we had to start using the secondary height adjustment on page 10 of the manual. That would be satisfactory, except that the straps slip, and 5 minutes after I set her in it, her knees are practically on the floor. We've resorted to tying a knot in the strap to keep it from budging so I don't have to run over constantly to keep adjusting her up. Graco, this would be a 5-star product if you'd redesign the straps and make this product more adjustable.

At first, my son (8 months) did not seem to like this. He just sort of hung in the doorway. I had everything set aside to return, but then my mother-in-law saw the jumper while babysitting and set it up. She played with him for an hour in it, and he started to get the hang of it. After about two days, he got a rhythm that is hilarious. We love watching him, and he will jump for an hour or more and get so much exercise! I agree on some of the other reviews that the music pad is not ideal (I sometimes put it under his Baby Einsteins stationary walker since it won't shift around there, and he seems to like that). Also, it would be great if we could adjust the jumper another inch or two since my son loves it so much and we'd like to use it longer. He is in the 90th percentile of height, so that would be helpful for us and anyone else with tall babies. My only regret is that I didn't buy this sooner, so he could enjoy it longer (and that I almost returned it prematurely).
