My 18 month old is a VERY difficult sleeper. Since we bought this turtle, she has been going down much easier. When I put her in the crib and turn out the lights, I sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" while pointing at the stars projected on the ceiling. She seems to be comforted by this turtle and the stars on the ceiling.

The only thing I would change about it would be to have the option of it not shutting off after 45 minutes. I think if it stayed on all night, she would have an easier time going back to sleep during night wakings.

Overall, a great product!

My son received this as a gift on his 4th birthday, now he's almost 6 he still enjoys it. Not only does my he enjoy star gazing in his own bed, it's great for traveling as you don't want to carry a night light with you. Also for the kids who don't usually need a night light but my occasionally wake in the middle of the night a little scared. Also good for us loving parents who may want to creep in and check on the little ones without waking them.

I got this for my nephew who is 4 and scared of the dark. He loves it & it helps him get to sleep now. The stars are bright & he really enjoys the lighting up of the sea creatures on the shell. Great deal & great product!

I was given this turtle as a baby shower gift and it has been so amazing. It was great for late night feedings when I didnt want to light up the whole room. My girls are 3yrs old and it is just now needing to be replaced and only because it was thrown to the floor, extrememly hard. It gives your child light for the part of the evening that is hard and turns off on it's own. No need to worry about a nightlight plugged in. I can't wait to get a new one!
