My kids loved this episode so to ad to our Thomas the Tank Engine collection, we bought this item online thinking it would be Thomas in the episode. It's not. for those of you who like detail and quality items, this train is not for you! The wacky funnel that Thomas wears during the show is big, oddly shaped, and, well, not his normal funnel. But on the toy, Fisher Price just panted it red. But if you just want another Thomas toy, than you'll like it. Tell Fisher Price to make some custom Thomas' every now and then!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Thomas the train looks alot like the toy made by Tomy Takara of Japan. Maybe its remarketed in the USA by Fisher Price. My son has the same Thomas but the two different cabins. Just like Hasbro did with Transformers.

    My son loves this train BUT...yes but...since I bought the Imaginarium train tracks and some of the parts, this train is too big to go under bridges and through things. Not to mention it can't go up on the risers at all...it just stops and my son has to push it up everytime. I thought it would have already broke though bc my son is rough on it but it keeps working so it is a good quality even though it frustrates my son because it gets stuck so much,
