Unfortunately, I cannot rate the actual finished product yet, because it has now been 2 hours and we (my husband and I) are still trying to figure out how to assemble this thing. The instructions are absolutely rediculous. I should have been more careful about buying this product. I actually bought it elsewhere, but should have been more careful and read some of the previous reviews on here. I only hope that their play kitchen won't be as painful to assemble as this picnic table.

All of us are very happy with this table. Was easy to put together. My grandsons love using it. Easy to fold and carry. Son and "Daughter" plan to take it camping with them. Only thing I would change is that the table be a little taller ( 1 to 2 inches). And that it had a removable plug in the center where the umbrella fits in (like you would find in bottom of piggy bank.) Minor changes for an other wise GREAT PRODUCT.

My kids love it, they feel like they are in charge of the meal and can sit together. It's great in our (finished) basement, can't wait to use it outside when the weather warms!

I have a 3 yr old son and an 18 month old daughter. They absolutely love this table. They use it everyday. I use it inside and outside. My sons plays cars on it, my daughter plays kitchen, they both do art projects on this table. They eat lunch and supper on this table. I love this table!

I never write reviews but I am compelled to write a review on this product since my experience was so bad. The table itself is decent with a number of drawbacks, but I'll get to that later. The biggest problem is the assembly. No thought was given to the ease or simplicity of the process.
You will need a drill / power screwdriver and a wrench or socket wrench to complete this task. I had to assemble this in my basement so I wouldn't wake up the kids from the power tool noise and my swearing. Where to start? The bench goes together with 8 very long machine screws. The holes for the screws are not big enough to slide the bolt into so you will wind up threading them in... 5 inches worth... and you will probably find that a few of the holes are not drilled out at all... go get the proper drill bit while you're at it. To tighten these Phillips head screws you need a screwdriver or drill on one end, and ideally a socket or box wrench on the other end. Careful, the screw head will probably strip on a few of them making it impossible to remove if you should want to disassemble. Oh, and all the hardware is very cheap zinc plated stuff that will rust if you leave it out for any length of time... have fun hauling it indoors every day. No problem! just fold it up and bring it in, except that it only folds down into a semi-flat position saving you very little space. What's the point? Why couldn't the 7 parts fasten together will a snap-in plastic rod? No rust, no fuss, no tools.

This product should be donated to universities for students to study bad design.

This was a birthday present for my 2 yr old daughter. She loves this table. It is a great size for her. We use it indoor and outdoor for art projects inside and a seat her size outside. My two main complaints are the hole in the middle for an umbrella and the fact the table really does not fold up. It can fold up, but you have to either remove or turn the big plastic screw, fold up the table, and then replace the screws. Mostly, the table is so light and easy to carry, we just carry it as is. However, if you have narrow spaces and expect the table to fold easily to be carried, beware! I do not see a use to add an umbrella, so the hole just ends up a nuisance.

This product takes home the prize for the worst assembly instructions of all time. I simply do not have time to try and decipher the inconsistency in the pictures and verbal instructions. The pictures don't match. I'll get it assembled, but now instead of it being a 10 minute job I'm going to have to sit down and spend some time trying to "figure out" what exactly the picture is trying to show. It's a kids table... we should be bolting on the legs and the tabletop end of story.
