I bought this for my son when he was around 2. Although he is almost 3 and none of the sirens work, I am buying him another set because he loves it so much. I also like it because it is lightweight and if he happens to toss it at his younger brother it wont harm him unlike the other heavier cars/trucks.

Each vehicle was poorly put together by the maunfacturer. The ladder truck's ladder broke off within a few hours of it being out of the box, and with no outside traumatic force involved.. lol. After just a few days of use, the buttons on top of the ladder truck, police car and ambulance all pushed so far in, that they would get stuck and became a pain to fix. Sirens and lights went dead within a week... very lightwieght toys that are NOT suitable for a rambunctious boy between the ages of infancy up to maybe 18 years of age... seriously. Make them more durable...

My little boy loved this set! But soon after buying it, the sounds quit working in one of the cars. It didn't take long for each of the vehicle sounds to stop working. You can hear stuff rattling around in each car. These are not very durable at all! If fact, most of the toys I have bought made by Fast Lane was a waste of money.

I bought these for my son for his 2nd birthday and they quickly became his favorite. They are pretty cheaply made though with very light plastic. The ladder has broke off the fire truck, and the sound box came loose so it no longer makes noise. The police car has lost its bumper and its spoiler, and frequently loses its hub caps (but only when chucked across the room) and the light bar has fallen in. His favorite piece is the ambulance which is now MIA. He doesnt care that they are broken however and they are almost 6 months old now. These are played with on a daily basis for hours on end. Currently I am trying to decide between repurchasing them since they are so loved, or finding another set that can hold up to a 2 year old better....

The boys loved them, but they were broken within 2 days...poor quality yet expensive.

Bought this for my 2.5 year old son. I liked the size of the vehicles, the sounds were fine, and overall it seemed like a good price for what you were getting. The ladder on the fire truck broke within 24 hours of purchase. Cheaply made, waste of money.
