We like to keep our heat down at night to save on utilities, but our 16 month son was waking up earlier and earlier because he was cold. We tried blankets, which of course he kicked off. He can't kick this off, and he is back to his normal sleeping schedule now, and we can keep our heat down at 64 where we like it in the winter. It's been great and I love the feet holes so he can still stand up in his crib. It does run on the larger side, and we normally put it on right before bed and take it off right when he gets up because it isn't super easy for him to walk in.

Sizes run a little larger than the regular sleepsack. I bought an XL because I have an XL in the regular sleepsack and the early walker is really too long. If my child were a little shorter he would trip on the extra fabric. I would recommend paying careful attention to the sizing charts or buy one that is a size smaller.

My daughter wears the SleepSack almost every night. With our bedrooms in the lower level of the house, it's much cooler than upstairs. I would constantly worry about blankets...but wanted to make sure she was warm. With the SleepSack, my daughter is kept warm and I have peace of mind.

The fleece is super soft, and it maintains a great quality wash after wash. I would recommend the Halo SleepSack to all parents!
