I love Gdiapers and these cloth inserts. I greatly prefer them to the gRefills. I haven't had any issues with leaking beyond the initial trial and error period as I figured out how to fit them on my baby. We are still in the size small (5 wk old baby) and I'm about to order more cloth refills. I have 12 currently and it would definitely help to have some extras so I am not doing laundry as often.

Note: another reviewer mentioned Desitin cream staining the cloth. NO creams should be used with a cloth diaper! The cream will get into the fabric and cause it to wick pee/poop instead of absorbing the liquid. The diapers would need to be stripped to get them back to their full absorbency potential.

Also: I have a Whirlpool Duet frontloader and have finally figured out a good wash system:

"Soak" (cold), "Whitest Whites" (hot wash with an extra rinse cycle on cold).

I am using CountrySave detergent and it is working great to get the diapers clean and fresh-smelling/looking.

I bought the gdiaper cloth inserts to try them out but we quickly found that using Gerber cloth diapers as liners were much more effective. Folding the gerber cloths in half are the perfect size and are much more absorbent. We never have leaks or blow outs with them where as with the gdiaper inserts I always have to end up cleaning the plastic liner and sometimes the diaper shell. I would recommend the gerber brand for dependability and cost over gdiaper cloth inserts any day. I do love the gdiapers pants though! They have been great, no complaints!

We have never used a cloth diapering system and desided on "G" Diapers this time. I love these hemp inserts, they are so soft and clean-up nicely.

We love the gDiaper system! We use cloth inserts during the day. They are super soft and just absorbent enough to last from one feeding to the next. We found them to not quite make the cut for overnight. They are the only way our sensitive skin baby has remained rash free! Another plus, they don't hold onto smells like other unmentionable all in ones we have tried.

I love the whole gDiaper set! I tried to buy the gerber inserts but my newborn peed right through it in an hour. I bought these the next day and we love them. They have a sweet smell to them and can stink if you don't immediatly soak them. But they are worth the money.

Comments about gDiapers 1011682 1011682 gDiapers 6 Count gCloth Insert - Small:

I have been using gdiapers since I brought my son home from the hospital. I used the disposable inserts at first, but switched to the gcloths at about 2 weeks. I love them! Yes, there is a learning curve. I wasn't getting them on tight enough so they were leaking. However, this is explained on the gdiapers website.
And yes, the liner is going to get dirty, but that is the point of it.
The cloths are very absorbent and as long as the diaper is put on properly have not leaked. I bought 24 and I was every 2-3 days with my newborn. I am thinking about buying some more so I don't have to wash as often.
I think they are a great investment. One six pack costs what a box of disposable diapers costs, only we get to reuse ours over and over again. I haven't spent a dime on disposable diapers, and I don't intend to!
Someone else mentioned they were long, which they are, but they shrink to the right size after the preparation washes. Even with the extra laundry washes, you will still save money using the gdiapers cloth!

These washable inserts seem to absorb just as much as disposable diapers. My only concern is that we end up with wet leg openings on the Little GPants more often than not, since my little boy pees to one side more than the other. This really isn't that bad, it just means that I have to carry around a couple extra Little GPants as well as these inserts. Overall, I am happy with the absorbancy, washability, ease of use, and softness of the gCloth inserts.

We decided to use cloth for our 2nd baby and bought these on a recommendation from a friend. We LOVE them. Every time my daughter pooped in a disposable it leaked and got on her clothes, but with these it has only happened a few times (she is breastfed, so its very liquid). We've been using these for almost 3 months and have no stains on our inserts, they look just like when we bought them. We've also started doubling them for the night, which lasts for at least 8 hours. We DO have to change more frequently to prevent leaks, especially as she is getting bigger and peeing more, however if I stay on top of it it's not a problem. They do feel damp on the outside when she is wet (the gdiapers website explains this, due to the breathability of the liners), however you can let the liners & cloth covers dry and they're good for another use without washing. We have 18 inserts and do laundry every other day.

I bought about 3 packs of these with high hopes, but I was very disappointed. No matter how many times I washed the inserts, how I positioned them in the gDiaper, or how I fastened the diaper on my daughter, these inserts LEAKED almost every time. I went on the gDiaper website and tried just about everything I could to correct the leaks issue, but nothing really worked. For how expensive these cloth inserts are I expected much more - waste of money!
