Now your little majesty can enjoy a throne of their own! Youll love training your little prince or princess with the Royal Potty because it has a reward system built right in, and plays different tunes - a musical reward for your childs potty progress. The royal potty can also be used attached to a regular toilet seat, complete with royal tunes (not recommended for use on padded toilet seats). And when your child needs to wash up after going to the bathroom, this potty chair converts to a handy stepstool! Perfect for helping your toddler reach the sink! Bowl removes easily for cleanup. Deflector shield included. The chair features removable legs for easy storage. Maximum weight for stepstool: 200 lbs. (90 kg) The Fisher-Price Royal Stepstool Potty requires 3 AA (LR6) alkaline batteries (not included). -

Fisher-Price was founded by Herman Fisher, Irving Price and Helen Schelle in 1930 and has since become one of the most trusted names in the baby toy and baby gear industry. Fisher, Price and Schelle combined their diverse manufacturing and retailing experience to establish a high-quality toy company that dbuted 16 wooden toys at the International Toy Fair in New York City. Since then, generations of children have grown up playing with Fisher-Prices award winning baby toys and using Fisher-Prices award winning baby gear.

Currently, Fisher-Price is the umbrella brand over all of Mattel's infant and preschool lines. In 1969, at the age of 71, Herman Fisher retired as President of Fisher-Price and the company was purchased by The Quaker Oats Company. In 1991 it became an independent, publicly traded company and in 1993 Fisher-Price became a wholly owned subsidiary of Mattel. The Fisher-Price line of baby gear includes play yards, baby bouncers and baby swings.

We bought the girl version. Very sturdy and cute, but the music that played when her pee hit the bowl scared the daylights out of her...she threw the book, got up and ran and will not go near the chair...2 months now! Have demonstrated how water makes the music play, but no dice. Guess we'll go look for a simple potty.

This is a terrible potty. I bought it for my 2 year old daughter in blue because I have a 15 month old son who will be learning soon after his sister. Every time she used this potty, urine would leak out all over the bathroom floor..so instead of immediately rewarding her for a job well done, I'm busy cleaning pee off the bathroom floor, dunking my daughter in a quick bath to clean her legs, and taking the potty apart to clean and sanitize that too. This kept happening for a week until I decided enough is enough and I returned it. The little pee-guard included does not stop urine from leaving the potty, falls down all the time, and comes off and gets lost easily. My kids smashed their fingers several times between the lid and the seat. They loved to take it apart and throw the pieces all over the place. It was such a frustrating experience. I bought another potty for half the price and we are all very happy now.

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Royal Stepstool Potty:

Although the idea of it is cute that it sings when they pee & is a stepstool, it just didnt work out. My son would always pee over it and it would just be a mess. He never used it as a step stool & would get irritated when I tried showing it to him. Never cared much for the music aspect of it. Bought the bjourn one & like it way better! This was a definate miss for us

I used this for my daughter a few years ago and am now using it for my son. The little "splash guard" for boys is easy. My son just points downward and there has never been an issue with pinching or anything like that. We turned the music part off a long time ago because it freaked my daughter out the first few times. It hasn't been on since so it never goes on and off at random. Overall, a great seat that we take with us in the car sometimes!

I had purchased a new potty my 19 month old and it was not boy friendly...kept scraping his boy parts. My cousin had used this potty and gave it to us, he loves it!! He dances to the music when he goes potty and we actually bought a second one for Mamaw's house :) It is easy to clean and comfortable, seems to fit all sizes of kids.

My son and his younger sister liked the potty alot, however they treated it more as a toy. The kids constantly took it apart, and the musical part played way too easily and spontaniously. Your supposed to be able to clip the seat onto a regular toilet, however, it's very difficult to get on and off without some muscle. The idea is cute in theory, but not in practice.

The shield pinches the little boy's part. He hates sitting on the potty. Going to buy a different style of chair and see if this chair is the root of our frustration.

I would have given this a 5 star all the way around, but the potty deflecter is way to small. When my little man sits on it the deflector isn't high enough to cover the "important" part. I have tried setting him differently on it but make him feel uncomfortable. But other than that and to me that is big, he loves to "make music." The first time the tune played he was so proud of himself. He was asking to go potty all the time. Just really hard to keep "things" covered.

I thought this will be a good seat for my son but the pee gaurd keeps falling on him. So instead of trying to go to the bathroom he concentrates on the pee gaurd and tries to pull it off. Do not recommend it.
