Awesome carseat would not pick any other one. The only thing i will say is that it is a bit heavy but that means it is built well.

My fiance bought this car seat for our daughter when she was about 2 weeks old beause he wasnt happy with the cheaper one that I recieved as a gift for my baby shower, he said it wasnt sturdy enough to carry his baby, so he looked for something more so and fell in love with this one. I wasnt happy that it wasnt at all girlie looking, but it was so sturdy and had all the bells and whistles. When we first got it, it was no problem carrying our daughter around because she was so small (7lbs), but now she is 6 mos old and weighs at least 20 lbs and it kills my arms to carry her around. The car seat itself is heavier than most, but when we put her inside, its just too much... so we will be moving to a convertible carseat pretty soon. Other than heaviness, it is a great carseat, I wouldnt be surprised if this thing is bullet-proof. Definitely sturdy, yet comfortable for the little one.

I have only one complaint and that is that it is heavy with my son in it. However, in the defense of the car seat, my 3 month old is about 17 pounds.

The car seat is made of a really soft material, unlike other car seats that I always thought felt cheap. I had such a hard time picking out a car seat and when I found this one I just knew. It's so comfortable. LO falls asleep almost instantly when he is in it. Lots of cushioning for comfort AND safety. Some reviewers said it was hard to adjust, I don't think it is difficult as all. There is a little button you press in the front and then you just pull the strap. to tighten you can press the button or not and just pull it the other way. Our back up car seat tightens in the back. How in the world do you tighten straps like that once the baby is in the car seat. This car seat is awesome by design and I reccommend it a million times. We will definitely be getting their toddler car seat when the time is right.

So, I am a Britax momma but I got the Safety 1st stroller as a shower gift. I was so impressed with it that I bought the matching carseat after some review. My big girl is 3 months and I regret the decision every day. The cover where her legs rest or will eventually rest when she grows is WORN. It is snagged and pilled. The kid doesn't wear anything bedazzled. Just sleepers and comfy clothes. But, the material has not held up at all. Very disappointing.

OK to adjust not as easy as Britax comparable to Graco. Better center latch position than Graco's uber close crotch strap.

Also it's properly installed with base and when latched into the base I'm not impressed. I think the base design could be improved to just be safer overall.

We are in Chicago and don't put a coat on LO. So we do blankets and a cover which goes over. The bottom won't latch with any cover on.

I bought this seat back in 2009, when it was marketed under Bertini. I have now used it for both my sons. I liked that it is able to be used over such a wide weight range, and my boys have both been quite comfortable in it. I didn't like that it was a bit bulky compared to other infant seats, and it does weigh a ton. But perhaps most important, it works! We were t-boned a few days ago, and my infant son didn't even seem to feel it happen in his seat.

We got this car seat because it had the highest crash score on CR. It is bigger than most infant seats we looked at and it is definitely heavier. The straps need to be retightened constantly and get twisted a lot. There are no bells and whistles to this seat but i trust it to be extremely safe in an accident.

This car seat has been so great. Our little man is 2 next month and it's lasted us this long without him growing out of it too bad. His feet dangle off the edge only an inch or so now. Finally ready to get him in a toddler car seat and put him forward facing. It held up great and we will be passing it off to my brother for his first baby due in June.

I love this carseat. I was able to use it until my son was a year old. Very light comfortable for baby ,straps are easy to use. You can change the position of the base and I liked the belt lock feature on the base. I also purshaed the stroller which I still use. The stroller is very easy to open and close and is very light it is the reason I decided on buying the set. I had a csection and was looking for a light stroller. Overall very happy with everything.

I am not happy with this product at all. My son is only 8 months old and it is way too narrow for him to sit comfortably in. He cries when I go to put him in the car seat because he is not comfortable. Although he is a big baby (21 lbs), he should still fit just fine since the product says it is good to up to 35 lbs.
