I needed a second crib to take in another foster baby. We don't have a lot of space left, so I thought a port-o-crib would do the trick. It is convenient that it folds up to fit through the hall way & door ways more easily than taking apart the full size crib, but that's the only plus. The crib is rickety - not sturdy at all. The wrungs allow baby's feet, lets & arms to go through, getting stuck quite often. The mattress is a JOKE. It's very thin and flimsy. So much so, that trying to put the sheet on is impossible. The sheet is tight and the mattress doesn't hold it's shape, so the sheet pulls at the mattress and deforms it, so it doesn't fit in the crib well. It's all lumpy. Even without the sheet on, the mattress doesn't fit in the crib. It is too small by a couple inches on each side, so baby is constantly laying on the hard board bottom or bumping the head. It's not always easy to lift the bottom board up/down to adjust sleep height either. It gets stuck because the sides are flimsy and don't keep their shape. I was expecting better quality. I'm going to have to find a replacement mattress or just return the whole thing & splurge on another full size crib.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The mattress board is different from the one that is shown in the third picture of babysrus web page (folded crib). The mattress board is thinner than in the picture, less stable, it has no wood piece stuck in the middle under the board like in the picture and it leans to one side. This crib in the picture is not exactly the same that babysrus sells. We finally return this crib and bought another one.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I needed a crib for my new granddaughter as she will be visiting my house quite a bit. She lives only 6 blocks from me but when she visits and stays overnight I needed something sturdy and of course something "pretty". For a folding crib this very nice. It was so easy to assemble.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
