Cannot even rate it because I have not received the mattress yet. My granddaughter was so excited by the bed that was send after the mattress. It has been over 2 weeks now, and it was supposed the be send by one of the faster delivery services, FED EX.

I cannot stress this enough - DO NOT spend more than the cost of this mattress! There is no point in spending well over the double this price, when the quality of this mattress exceeds the more expensive ones!

I originally based my decision on positive reviews read online - but then I decided to visit the store to compare and contrast as well. You can all laugh if you want, but I was literally in the store, placing mattresses on the floor, and testing out how firm they were. After not being impressed with my in-store choices, with the exception of a very expensive $180 (which just isn't in the budget right now) - I had this mattress ordered in-store and shipped to my home. I received it in a week, with everything in great condition. I tested this mattress the same way I tested those in store, and was so impressed I texted my husband at work to let him know how impressed I was, lol! At this point in my pregnancy, I'm 130lbs - and this mattress barely gives when I put my weight on it!

In conclusion: this mattress has great support, it's hypoallergenic and anti-microbial, it's free of phthalates and lead, it comes with a removable tear-resistant cover that is waterproof and resists mildew, can also be used with a toddler bed - and on top of all that it doesn't make that awful noise that most waterproof mattresses do. Lastly, it's flame retardant without the use of any awful chemicals!

Bought the mattress for my grandsons crib. Fits the crib perfectly. Can't rate performance yet as the baby hasn't been born yet. This mattress came highly recommended from coworkers who have recently had babies. Only complaint is when it was delivered, the box had holes in it and foot prints on it, but there was no damage to the mattress
