We purchased this product in the summer of 2010. It was a *wonderful* chair for 2 years. I adored it! I actually labored with 2 of my 3 children in this chair. It was so comfortable. But now it sqeaks like crazy. Its so bad we can't even use it anymore. My husband has tried to repair it. He has made sure all exposed hardware is tightened properly and everything is oiled. It is still awful. I am happy that I got 2 good years out of it but very disappointed that I spent almost $300 on a chair that only lasted 2 years. Overall, I would not buy it again :(

We have had this chair for a few months. At first, we really liked it. Then after a few months the handle to reline the chair broke off the chair. Most recently the chair won't rock or recline pretty much at all. My husband is going to attempt to fix it, but for [$] that is ridiculous. This chair is also better for toddlers than newborns/infants. I find our other glider much easier for feeding our infant daughter (used to use for our son, but now use this chair).

We bought this chair in the summer of 2011 and have been pretty pleased with it. Putting it together was simple and we've kept it in our living room since the design is more than just baby-friendly. We weren't looking for the gliders that seem to only go in nurseries. We wanted something more versatile. The chair gave us just that. We haven't had any issues with squeaking or funny noises like a few of the other reviewers. We're still happy with our purchase!

We purchased this chair for our nursery when we first found out we were pregnant. It made some noises which we thought would resolve with time (they didn't - got worse!) and it definitely seemed to break in like the one in the store, getting more comfortable with use. And then it really broke! The cushion of the chair now sinks down so low in the back that we have difficulty rising up while holding our daughter, only 8 months old. We are not big people, and I can't imagine how much worse it will get as she gets bigger. Plus I have to do everything very slowly or it's so loud it wakes her up. THIS CHAIR IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Please don't be fooled like we were. We are trying to figure a way to fix it ourselves so it is at least usable, but we are extremely disappointed.

This is my first review of a product but feel the need to share my experience. The two stars are for the color and size of the recliner, which is why I bought it to being with. After using it for several months, it started squeaking. We have tried lubricating the mechanism and various things but it always comes back, which is irritating when you are trying to put a baby to sleep. Also, the foot rest has little padding. It is very uncomfortable on bare feet. We bought this when my son was a couple months old and the problems started several months later. I would have thought for the price, the quality would be much better.

This chair was good for about 2 months and has since been the worst chair I've ever owned. It squeaks constantly. We have oiled and greased it which helps for a day or 2 then it does it again.

DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR! Spend extra money and get a quality brand like lazy boy, etc.

This chair is already broken and knocks when it rocks. I have been unable to get a hold of the people that are suppose to come and fix it!!! We have a child that does not like to sleep and got the new chair for somewhere more comfortable for us to rock her to sleep. But all we get is a loud knock when it rocks and a sunken seat. Very disappointed, made in America use to mean more.

LOVED this chair on the showroom floor; however, the one I received at home was of MUCH LESSER QUALITY. For example, it squeaks every time I glide in it and my daughter is unable to sleep, there is a gap in the back between the seat and back rest, and the foot rest is not very long (I am 5"5 and it catches me mid-calf), also the cheap metal footings for the chair make it impossible to move. I could go on and on about my dissatisfaction with this product, which we have only owned for 8 months. I could have bought a leather recliner at [...] with a guarantee for this price. Beware!!

We purchased this for use in our baby girl's nursery. We were looking for something with a smaller design to make it easier for the "grandmothers" since they are short. This worked great for me, my husband and the grandmothers. It's very comfortable and easy to keep clean and it glides a little more than most rocking chairs. Plus it's a recliner, which has been a big help on nights when baby has had trouble sleeping...we just leaned back and rested with the baby.

It squeaks a little bit, but some applications of WD-40 will do the trick.

It's very sturdy and makes a great addition to her nursery. We plan to use it in our office or living room once the baby isn't being rocked anymore. Nice piece of furniture.

I have been using this chair for two weeks. I am 5'5" and really had a hard time finding a chair where my feet hit the ground. This chair worked out perfectly. It is a good size for my 6 foot husband too as the back is high. It does not take up as much space as I thought it would so it worked out perfect for the nursery. The color is great too.
