My friend got this it is very nice however i do not advise little kids to use because the rubber on the ends might hurt them as for the older kids (8+) it is very nice attractive looking,curves nicley.

My husband and son bought this ball this spring, and were VERY excited. It does make a nice spiral when thrown correctly. HOWEVER!!! The hard end is dangerous. It broke off my husband's fingernail below the fingertip, and BROKE my son's finger on Columbus day, and sprained his finger this weekend. I am taking this ball and throwing it away.

I bought this for my grandson who is 11. Within 1 month the letters tarting peeling off of the ball and the ball completely split in different areas exposing the foam. Recieved a replacement and it did the same thing. Not a good NERF product.

I work at an after school care. I bought two of these footballs, one green and one orange. After one week of use, about two hours each day, both balls split at the seam. I tried to repair with superglue but they slit again (see picture). I may try stitching the seam; if I do I will update. The glue also started to come loose from the rubber finger grips.
Even though the balls are splitting the children still prefer to play with these over the hard rubber footballs that I tried to replace these with.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Bought this football for my son recently and it is great. Haven't thrown a nerf football in years but this one was well balanced and comfortable for both of us. It was very easy to teach him to throw and so far appears to be quite durable as long as the dog doesn't join in. Like that the bounce is a bit toned down compared to the old style I used to play with. Only suggestion: Make sure you don't use it indoors, it's more durable than most things in the house.
