Comments about Storkcraft Baby Storkcraft Hoop Glider and Ottoman - White/ Khaki Fabric:

This item had to be shipped to us since they did not carry it in stock- so i never got to sit in it or look at it. When we got it the box had such a strong chemical smell that it actually made my husband vomit- We had to unpack it and put the box outside- we dont have a garage so we put it in the baby room (baby wasn't born yet) and open the windows for about 3 days. the item here is marked khaki but the box reads buttercream. One of the snaps that holds the fabric on was smashed so i had to call customer service to order- it was not too bad & they sent it quickly and it was easy to replace with just one screw. The fabric is very itchy- when i nurse the baby i have to put a blanket behind me so my skin doesnt touch the fabric. Our baby is now 9 months old & last night one of the springs on the bottom of the seat fell out- I had to use a clamp and hammer to put it back together- the ottoman wont lock- so Lily was pulling up on the ottoman and it rocked forward and she lost her balance and got a huge bruise on her cheek on the sharp corners under the base of the cushion. The paint is very thin in spots so you can see the wood underneath. The fabric is pilling & the seat cushion is as flat as a pancake. I would not recommend this to anyone-

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
