LEGO Creationary Game System. Roll the LEGO Dice to select one of four exciting building categories: vehicles, buildings, nature or things. With three levels of difficulty you can show off your building skills, while the others guess what you are creating. We had wanted to get this game for Christmas, but were feeling antsy for a new game for game night. We got it and played, my boys are 4 and 6. It's a little difficult but they did great! I also expected it to show like a 3-4 step process to build the item but no, it was just a 'real life' type picture you have to figure out how to make. My 4 year old built a police car and we knew what it was right away. They have been playing with this sized Lego for over a year so they have the nimbleness required.

There aren't alot of pieces...No black pieces...which makes it hard to make a PENGUIN..

DONT TURN THE BOX UPSIDE DOWN after you close it, they will get all mixed up and you'll have to separate them all over again. We ended up cutting out a piece of card board and put it inside to make sure this didnt happen.

Also it would have been nice if they had pre-color sorted the pieces into packages instead of giving you 6 bags with them all mixed together.

My son received this for Christmas from Santa. I used to play with Legos myself as a young man so I am very good at putting Legos together. The game is fun but a lot of the items that you have to put together are difficult because the set doesn't have all the different pieces to build with.
Example- you have to build a rose but there aren't enough red pieces to make it with.
This game is very fun but young ones get discouraged easily. My son is 9 and enjoys it. I would recommend this game for kids 9-up that have experience in building large Lego sets.

Very Disappointed

This review is not a review of the game, but the terrible experience I had with Online Toys R Us. I ordered 4 of the games for my nieces and nephews for Christmas presents. There was a buy one get on half price promotion at the time. I placed my order, paid through PayPal, and received a confirmation for the 4 items. I received a message stating that I would receive an email when my merchandise would be available for pick up at the West Hartford, CT store. Three days later I got an email from Toys R Us informing me that the 4 items were no longer available and my money would be refunded. I contacted online customer service, who basically told me there was nothing they could do. I think this is inexcusable. These items were promised to me when I received the confirmation email. I am very upset because I made a promise to my nieces and nephews that I would have the games for them on Christmas. Thanks Toys R Us for the disappointment.

i purchased this for my son for his 8th birthday and while some of the things can be difficult for my 8 and 5 year olds to build it encourages them to try their best and use their imagination. We always have fun playing even if we never get any of them right still fun to try!!! Great game for people with a sense of adventure and humor!

My 9 year old grandson received this as a gift; however, his brother, 5, cannot play this game enough. He is very mechanical and loves playing with anyone. At first, he was quite challenged, but now, he is a whiz. He even plays this game by himself. The whole family has played together and thoroughly enjoyed it; a great game that also became an educational tool for all. I imagine he will become an engineer some day.
