This is awesome to have for those early months whether you're breastfeeding or not! I was able to use it for about 3-4 months and my son was always in the 70+ percentile(in size and weight)and he fit just fine. I breastfed for the first month and it was nice to just have him right there knowing that he is safe. As a paranoid first time mom, I kept waking up every 5 min to check on him. With this all I had to do was open my eyes and see him. I loved it and now pregnant with my daughter so I will definitely be using it again! I'm in the Army so traveling is a big part of our lives. We took trips to grandmas and laid him in there for all his naps! :) GREAT product worth every penny!!

At first, our newborn baby girl would only be held at night. This got VERY tiring, and was really unsafe to do in a recliner. For a solution, we bought this and put it on our bed. We LOVE it. She sleeps in it all night. I love the vibrating option because she is the type of baby that always wants to be moving or feeling movement.

The only problem is that the buttons seem to be noisily vibrating along with it. We taped the top button, and that has stopped. As for the other buttons, we wedge a blanket in it so that you can't hear it.

I used the product when I first got home from the hospital for my newborn baby. I originally placed the sleeper in-between my husband and I in our bed. When we wanted to put the baby in her crib we actually moved the sleeper inside her crib so she got used to being inside her crib. After a week we removed the sleeper and started putting the baby in her crib. We had no idea that this was going to be an awesome training tool to get our baby sleeping in her crib!!!
We also used the sleep machine which the baby loved!!
The only negative to the product would be that there was not a timer on the sleep noise machine. I kept wishing it would play for at least 45 minutes. I would suggest that they put a timer on the sleep noise machine

My infant slept in summer sleepr for 4 nights after we brough him from the hospital. Mattress has many dents now after only few days, and we washed it as instructed and mattress shrinked. Mattress should be more firm, and not so easly weraing of after just 4 days - not to mention our baby was premee and weighted only 6 pounds. All other futures are great but cannot use it wothoud a mattress, and not sure if can buy the replacment mattress but even if I do not need one foe 4 days or less onyl as my baby is growing. Very disapointed with this product.

my son was born right before the holidays. this came in handy when visiting relatives he could take a nap on the living room floor. To my surprise he had no problem sleeping in it. he has been sleeping in his crib since birth and i thought that maybe it would feel to closed in? It is a little tricky to close, i've pinched my fingers a few times. other then that we love it!

I bought this for my son when he was born. We traveled a good deal when he was pretty young and it was great for traveling! It was small enough to pack and it did fit nicely between two people in a king size bed. The noise maker is great!!!!!! My son has always been soothed by noise/music, so I took it off the sleeper and started bringing it in the car wherever we went! He is 11 months old now and still holds it and/or listens to it while he is in the car, in his stroller, or in his crib taking a nap.. it held up great..no problems with it at all!!

This sleeper is amazing! I wasn't sure if my 1 month old would sleep in it because before the only way he would go to sleep was if someone would hold him. My husband and I were exhausted because one of us always had to be up with him. But we used it last night and he loved it! It was the first time I've gotten any real sleep since he was born. Its This product is wonderful for breastfeeding because you can just reach over, feed the baby, and they'll fall right back to sleep.

Perfect for first time or paranoid parents. As a new mommy I knew I wanted my baby close to me at all times. I knew infants are at higher risk for SIDS when they sleep in bed with their parents so this was the perfect product for us. We have a king size bed so it fit like a glove. It gave us peice of mind while giving our baby comfort and safety. We had our baby in the co-sleeper til he was about 2 months. We were never afraid that we would roll over him because he was protected by the metal rails that surround the sleeper. The light and small storage compartment was so convenient because we kept a diaper and wipes at arms reach. I love everything about it.

When I registered I immediatly wanted this thinking "of course i want my newborn right next to me in bed". I was wrong though, every new mom knows a lot changes in those first few months with a newborn, sleeping habits included, though I didnt get to sleep much the time I was in bed I needed the intimate comfort of my husband next to me. Saying this, I do have to tell you I was lucky enough to have a hand made craddle that I could put right next to my bed and I could check on my son with a glance. As new parents you loose a lot of time for just the two of you so I highly recomend keeping the baby off the bed, especially between you and your husband. That does not reflect on your parenting at all, I love my son more than anything and I love having him in the craddle right next to me, and I think I'll be sad when he grows out of it and moves into his crib across the room. I also value my relationship and there is no room for this contraption in our queen size bed.

Bought this for my niece and new baby girl. I love how it could be placed on the bed giving the baby protection and allowing a new mommy to rest yet see the baby, which is a big help during the first few days. Also loved the sturdy construction. Audio box tunes....not so great but okay. Here is her text to me "The sleeper you bought us is the best thing since sliced bread! Yanni loves sleeping in it! I've finally been able to get some sleep as well." This great-Auntie is pleased with purchase!
