This was a gift for my grandson. It wasn't difficult to assemble and my grandson loves it.

Overall I think the Spray and Rescue Fire Truck is an "okay" buy. I was disappointed with the fact that there are not any doors that open/close. Also the water tank that sits in the back of the truck falls out very easily. I have two boys and they both seem to love the truck thus far, so I am happy for their delight. If I had to do it again, I would buy something with doors and a trunk.

Purchased two of these fire trucks approx two years ago for my two year old twins. They have by far been the best toy purchase I have made for my boys, and am extremely pleased by the quality of them. We have gotten our money out of these toys!!!!!
Living in upstate NY, we spend a lot of time with snow and/or rain in the forecast. So in our home, these trucks have been the perfect indoor toy for our kids to have fun and expend some energy. They are driven on a daily basis, been easy to maneuver, and are all around great toys for the imagination.
I can't comment on the hose working, as we have never tried them as the trucks are used indoors, and my boys are content using their imagination to pretend there is water.
My boys are now four, and they seem to fit in the trucks pretty good still. It will be a very sad day in our home when they finally do outgrow these fire trucks!

The kids love this toy! It was such a hit. The only complent I have was it was a little difficult putting it together as a single mom and not having much for tools. But once it was together it was such a hit for the kids and they haven't stopped playing with it.

My son absolutely LOVES this truck. He will amuse himself for hours outside, asking "Where's the fire?" and then rushing off to put "the fire" out. He's been watering my plants this way too!

Assembly took me about 2.5 hours, but I was by myself AND watching my son, so I got interrupted a LOT. Instructions were clear, and I thought the assembly was easy. Hammer and screwdriver was all it took.

I only gave 4 stars b/c the tank, when full, can sometimes dislodge from the truck itself, especially when you pump the tank aggressively. No damage has been done to the truck or my deck, though, so it is truly a minor issue at this point.

I also wish the truck had the entrance/exit feature on BOTH sides of the truck. Only one side is lower and meant for getting in and out. Try explaining that to a toddler!

FYI - this is meant for ONE child at a time.

I bought this for my little brother and plan to buy another one for my son. It is a little high priced but so cute ant the kids love it.

At first it seemed a great buy. My son mostly loved the fire hose. Then about 2 weeks later it wouldn't hold air anymore and stopped spraying. Then those little plastic covers that go over the screws break apart leaving small pieces of plastic for my little one to get in to. Also the white ladders are pointless. They fall off with the slightest touch. Might as well of gotten just the simple car. The spray and ride fire truck was a great idea but cheaply made. Would not recommend to anyone.

I bought 2 of them, although they are very cute I found it very disappointing that the water was too hard to pump out for a young child. My 2 older grandsons are tall and didn't fit in it well.
