        My son has played with Spencer every day since he got it a month ago. He brings it everywhere we go. The sound is fun, and not too loud to be annoying.
        When I bought it I thought maybe it would work on the wooden railway, but it doesn't. However, my son plays with it on the tracks somewhat, but mostly everywhere else. It is well worth it!

          My son loves the Thomas and Friends engines and this one is one of his favorites and mine! For something it's size (which is a great size for smaller hands) it has a lot of details and great features. It's a sturdy die cast. When you push it along, it makes a huffing motor sound as the wheels rotate. The characters voice is clear and the same as the one you hear on the TV program. It's a very good toy - fun enough to play with and impressive looking where you can start a collection and display them in your child's bedroom. A plus about this product, if you need a gift for a child and your budget is low, this is a ten dollar bill gift that doesn't look the price.
