The video girl is very pretty but has many flaws , including : hard to see screen even in a bright room , Legs aren't very flexible , battery life is terrible , and you can't hear sound play back with out connecting to a computer !!

this doll is pretty low tech, the first one we bought, the screen didn't work. this was on our daughters must have wish list, but it is weird to have your 5 year old making movies of random things, then leaving it on and forgetting she is recording. Could be a bad thing.

Got this for my 6yr old daughter for her birthday. This is my 2nd one, the first one the arm broke within a day. This Barbie does not have straight arms they are joined, and the joints are very flimsy. Even with the 2nd doll, so far its ok, but I would not be surprised if the arm snaps again, and she doesn't play with it rough or anything. I think they should redesign this doll with better arms!

I got this as a gift to my daughter for Christmas and she was really disappointed when we couldn't hear the sound on play back. I looked at the instructions only to find out you can only hear the sound if it's connected to a computer. Well not everyone has a CPU! Overall, cute doll and okay video quality.

I purchased this product for my three daughters who are 3 yrs, 7 yrs and 9 yrs old. Before giving it to them I tested it out though to see how it works. #1 It has a mini screen so you can see exactly what is being video taped which is GREAT! #2 you have a play back button so that you can watch what you recorded before uploading it. If you don't like it you can delete it and re-record. There is no sound on the playback of the movie on the back of barbie, but you can watch the video. #3 it is the normal size of a barbie doll. You can dress the doll and play with her or use her as a video camera and she is adorable! :) I give this product an A+. The megapix on the camcorder isn't extremely high, but it is better than those fisher price kid tough cameras and it works as it claims. You can't beat that for [$]! It's a Toy and a usable Video camera!

Loved this Barbie at first. My seven year old had to have this for Christmas and was able to use it without any problems until the bendable arm broke off. You can't even pop the arm back on because the plastic is broken. Not good Quality at all.
