iPod is pictured, but not included. This iHome Alarm Clock Radio has dual universal docks that are compatible with your iPhone and iPod. Included are inserts to fit docking different iPod models. There are 2 independent alarms to wake to that can be connected from your iPhone or iPod playlist, FM radio, or buzzer. The dock also charges and plays iPod and iPhone while it is being docked. Sync button allows user to sync unit with iPhone time. There are bass, treble, 3D sound and balance control, and 6 FM presets. High-fidelity stereo drivers in specially designed speaker chambers deliver astounding clarity, depth, and power. Gradual wake and gradual sleep increases/decreases alarm/sleep volume so as not to startle the user. Dst switch for quick daylight-savings time adjustment. Line in jack to play mp3/cds.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas 2011 and she loves it. Getting the alarm to work right has always been a little confusing to her but other that it's great. It charges her ipod while she listens to it and the sound is pretty good. I would recommend this product to anyone. In fact I am going to buy another one for one of my other daughters for this Chirstmas.

Am having to return the 2nd one in a row. The first one had two buttons that would not work. I took it back today and got a new one. When i got home with this one the screen was a mess! I have taken batteries out and done a reset, but it has jibberish all over it. Very disappointed!

I bought it because my daughter loves music. I like the fact that it works with her ipod. She can listen to the regular radio and it also has an alarm that she can set so she can wake up in time for school. So far so good. We are loving it.

I ordered the IP42 for an iPod Nano and got the IP43 (Apple says IP43 does not have nano support) with a nano holster adapter piece. Unfortunately, this is a gift and I will have to wait to see if the nano works, but I was very disappointed when I saw this. It was advertised as the IP42.

Lasted less than a year!

Bought this for my 11 year old daughter for X-mas 2009. The radio and clock work fine but the iPod docking won't play the music out of the speakers unless you push down on the iPod. BUMMER!!!!!!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
