Love this crib. It's safe, according to the specs, and we like the pretty, clean lines and the curves that make it just a little different. We like the way there's ventillation on both sides (unlike many of the cribs which convert to day beds and have a solid side). Assembly of the crib itself wasn't too bad, though time consuming (it took us awhile to identify some of the pieces, because the pictures show only one side of the piece--also, there was one set of holes which wasn't used for this assembly, which threw us off). Assembly of the drawer was tricky, though--we eventually got it to fit together, but had a lot of trouble. Do note that, with the mattress high as for an infant, even with the drawer closed, you can see all the drawer's contents--if this bothers you, get a bed skirt (we decided not to bother). We did purchase the toddler bed conversion rail to use later.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I haven't used this crib yet b/c our baby isn't due until October, but I did put it together over the weekend. [...] The wood seems very sturdy and solid to me. It was also pretty easy to put together. I did it in about 2 hours by myself. A couple of places in the directions were less-than-clear, but I made educated assumptions and all was fine. Now that it's assembled, the crib seems very sturdy and it's just gorgeous. My only complaint is that the screw holes are visible. You can even see it in the picture on this site. I think it will be an easy fix if I can find something to cover it up with. Should just take a quick trip to the home improvement store. All in all, very happy with this purchase Great deal for the price!

I love this crib! It was really easy for my husband to set up. It looks great in my son's nursery too. Like everyone else, I can't live without the drawer! It holds all of his extra blankets and sheets. My son loves his crib. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a gorgeous sleigh crib! Even with my son starting to pull up on everything, it is still very sturdy!

Looked for a beautiful white sleigh crib for a long time. We were going to buy the drop side till there were so many drop side recalls, I was so happy to hear they were making this model in stationary side!

My only tiny complaint is that the drop side didn't have the holes on the front where you can see the screws, but the stationary does... there are also 2 holes near the bottom that serve no purpose, still not sure what they are for.

Anyway we love this crib, its sturdy and beautiful. Oh but don't jab it with any metal, it will scratch or dent when hit hard. Husband accidentally nicked ours with a screw driver.

Oh and we could not live without the drawer underneath, we store her extra sheets, sheet savers, mattress pads, and 5 fluffy quilts under there!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought this crib for my baby boy. It looks beautiful in his underwater themed nursery - the white really pops. It was easy to put together. He has been sleeping in it for over a month and I still love it. The only complaint I have is that you have to remove the mattress to change the height of it. This is not a big deal, but it is inconvenient.

I bought this crib in november 2009. I haven't been able to use it yet, but the crib is beautiful. I wanted a look alike pottery barn sleigh crib, but not have to spend all that money on a crib. This crib is very sturdy and comes with a drawer for extra storage. My husband put it together without any complications. I'm sure it will last until we have a second child.
