I got these in hopes they would help m b/g twins be inspired to potty train. BOTH watches had dead batteries! Considering I would probably only use these a matter of months, I was not willing to pay for new batteries to be installed. I'm betting they aren't a big seller so make sure you check the batteries before you check out.

Our son was having a difficult time remembering to go potty and having "little" accidents. We used this watch and set timer to 30 min, then backed it up to 60 min... not a problem now. Not really a serious downfall, I think that it should be more waterproof, although we haven't had a problem with it while he is washing hands.

Easy To Use. My Son Loved The Flashing Lights And Music That Plays When The Alarm Goes Off. It Got Him Excited To Go To The Potty.

The watch and the concept are a great idea. It seems to work well as a reminder to go potty. Only has 2 downfalls...
1) The alarm doesn't stay on long enough and
2) My son doesn't want to wear it at times thus rendering it obsolete.
Other than those 2 reasons it wouod have gotten a 5 star rating.

I'm not sure if this is a review for the watch or ToysRus. I ordered the watch for store pick up, the watch battery was dead. When I returned to the store for an exchange; ALL of the watch batteries in the store were dead!

My 5 year old son with special needs resisted going to the potty when asked, and would never initiate the process on his own. The watch took away the resistance to going so it wasn't a battle. When the watch went off, it was just simply time to go! And he absolutely loved the cute music, which alternates different songs, and the flashing lights. It's not too loud, so as a parent you still have to be near enough to hear it so you can cheer and say "Yea! It's time to go potty!"

This was a great find. My son was doing great with the potty then he got sick and everything went out the window. He loves to wear it cause he feels like a big boy and he gets excited when it goes off and runs to find me and tells me it is potty time. This is making a great habit for him to remember to take a break for potty time. He gets so busy playing! We are off to a great start.

You can set it for 30, 60 and 90 mins.

I purchased this watch for my 3 year old son in hopes of getting him excited to use the potty. For [$] I'd say this was worth it. The batteries don't last long (only 1 week for us), but they lasted long enough to get him trained and I'm actually happy the batteries are wearing out. He's had a week of reminding and now he gets to tell me himself and has done awesome!

I purchased 2 of these (have twin boys) even though the only color available in the store was pink. What the heck, they know their colors but don't have a clue that boys usually don't wear pink. Anyway, I ignored the negative comments. Should not have done that. One of the bands broke apart where it "connects" to the watch. I just pinned it to his shirt. The watches functioned as indicated, but the batteries failed after 2 weeks. The cost of the replacement batteries was outrageous (nearly 1/2 price of watch). Could not replace batteries, as the itsy-bitsy screws are made of some soft metal which stripped with first try to remove them (did have correct tool). Result, threw both in the trash!!!

The potty watch stopped working after 1 month. It should last longer.
