The CTK2100 offers pure playing pleasure for the beginner! Play along with your favorite song via the audio input, or learn songs step-by-step via the StepUp learning system. With 400 tones and 150 rhythms the CTK210 can be powered by using just 6-AA batteries.

Features

• USB MIDI: The tried-and-tested interface quickly and simply connects your keyboard with the computer; Plug & Play with Windows XP/Vista and Mac from OSX 10.3 ensures optimum compatibility.
• Sampling function: Recordings can be played back via the keyboard and pads using the sampling function (audio input).
• Voice Pad function: Provides a simple way of playing back voice samples, such as "YO" and "HEY", as well as other effects and sounds using the keyboard's pads.
• Song Bank Controller: The 110 practice pieces in the Song Bank can be controlled via the Song Bank Controller in a similar way to a CD player, allowing players to practice the piece effectively.
• Loudspeaker system: The system featuring two loudspeakers and a power of two times two Watts produces an impressive and balanced sound.

Do not buy this product unless you want to buy things like the cord in order to use it. Thats right it doesn't come with the cord!...The cord people! Come on!

The keyboard was purchased for a 6 year old. Sounds wonderful and a great feature is that it teaches and scores you during the lesson. The only bad thing is that we probably needed the next keyboard above this one. The keys don't light up and for a 6 year old probably would have been better but thats my fault. Over all this is awesome sounds, great song bank and sounds terrific overall...Great buy!!!

My son has been taking piano lessons for quite some time. They usually teach the classics and that is music to my ears but he has been exposed to garage band, a music creating software at school, and he wanted more contemporary sounds. This gift was the ticket! It has extended his interest in piano which has been waning. Now I can enjoy continued piano lessons!

This was a gift for Christmas. All I did was put batteries in and he has been playing all week. We still have not heard all of the sound effects and styles.
Only downfall is that it does not come with an AC adapter
