After spending a couple of days spreading sand, because I ordered enough to create a mini beach/play yard....and leveling the ground, getting the pool up is relatively easy if you lay out the parts you will need and allow the sun to soften the liner. Actual construction of the pool took my husband about one hour. If your ground is nice and level and free of obstructions and you don't drag the liner on rough surfaces, we've found this pool to be a fun and happy answer to carefree summer fun for our grandsons. Our three year old can walk across the pool comfortably yet it's deep enough for him to learn some basic swimming...My daughter and I love to float in it too. We bought a cover that is for a Summer Escapes Pool and it works very well. The cover is cheap and does the trick. This pool is well worth the money if you're willing to level the ground and show reasonable care to avoid puncturing the liner as you are putting it up.

This pool is perfect for my 2 and 4 year old boys. They can swim around easily but still touch the bottom. Pool goes up fairly easy with two people, but as everyone mentions, make sure you level it your ground out first. Also it is a lot more comfortable on the feet if you use a soft material like peat moss underneath. I would give this product 5 stars but the pump is so bad that i couldn't. I upgraded to the sand pump within a week. the intex sand pumps are much better and actually filter the water, plus no changing filter cartridges every week. Pool has been great for 2 weeks, hopefully it will still be in great shape after it's been down for the winter and back up in the spring.

Great, simple easy product. That WORKS.
I have 2 kids a 4 year old and a short 7 year old with Asbergers/Spectrum Disorder. My 7yr old was deathly afraid of the water at the local pool, and would cling to me so tightly it actually hurt me! However, with this low water height ( 24 inch pool water depth) he had the confidence to learn to swim on his own terms. Day 1 he was submerging himself and holding breath underwater. Day 2 he was gliding underwater. By Day 3 he was swimming freestyle on top of water! HURRAY... Great fun in an easy package. I was fretting the pool would be too shallow, but its actually safer this way.
Deep enough to really swim, but shallow enough that is quite safe for small kids.
Easy maintenance- I am using plain laundry bleach- 2 cups every evening (totals about 1 X 3$ gallon jug per week)...running pump filer about 6-8 hours a day. Pool is sparkling clean and kids say there is less chlorine smell then local pool. No itching skin, burning eyes, etc.
I actually found I ENJOY caring for the pool--
Zen like feeling skimming the pool- like water gardening...
Dont forget these items:
- Leaf Skimmer (for bugs and stuff),~15
- water ph test kit 15$
Do some research online before dumping a lot of combined chemicals in your pool...!

Setting up was a breeze, it took 3 of us but's thats because Grandpa wanted to help =-)
Filling up took about 5 hours, but that was because at first we just put water about a foot, to get the kids (9 & 7 yrs old) use to it. Have to get to use to using chemicals to keep the water clear. Toys R Us carries all the chemicals. We do not have a front/back yard with grass, it is cement, so we put a comforter for cushion and plastic sheets to keep the bottom safe. So far it has been great, lots of fun in the water, my daughter is actually learning to swim in there, 20 feet by 3feet..good enough room.

Set-up was easy ,and since theere is no inflatable ring the dog can see whats going on in the pool,very sturdy we have had it for 3 years now no problems at all

I have three kids ages 8, 7 and 4 and they love this pool! It's deep enough for them to swim underwater comfortably. Very easy to put together. But this is a real pool so it does come with some maintance costs that I didn't think of until after we put it together, so just keep it in mind that your going to have to spend a little more to purchase things like a ladder, chlorine, net, sweep, etc.

Great pool once you get the last piece to fit for the frame. kids love it! spacious and all the pool toys fit with no problems. for the pool this size, it should have come with a skimmer or vacuum bc u will need it for the bugs.

Our grand kids were coming for three weeks and we wanted them to have a fun, outdoor activity that provided some exercise. The pool was easy to set up and seems pretty durable. The pool pump could be more powerful, but does circulate the water. The kids had a great time splashing, floating and swimming.
