Was a little hesitant to order this product after some of the reviews stated they received the wrong product. However, I'm so happy I did. We have been using our guard rail aka big boy bed a little over a week and it's amazing how much pride our son has in his bed. The guard rail is sturdy and very easy to install; you use the same screws that came with the crib and it took about 15 minutes to put it together. It only installs in one way so this might be difficult for some children to adjust to this however, our son had no problem. The idea that a child can get in and out provides our son with some confidence. He was so excited to see his 'big boy bed'. The guardrail is as described, and we would encourage getting this if you child is ready for this next step. You just have to be prepared to deal with middle of night interruptions now that your child is able to get in and out of his bed.

We have a quantity of 2 of this product 3 times now and they have sent ud the classic guard rail instead of the lifestyle guard rail each time. The last order had 1 lifestyle rail and 1 classic rail even though we ordered 2 of the same item online. It is getting really aggravating returning 5 guardrails for the 1 corerct one I have received. I still need to order another rail. I wonder which one they will send!

They sent us the wrong product. We needed the lifestyle rail they sent the classis instead and after talking in the phone thought we would be able to reorder it. Not the case they said we couldn't unless we went to the store.

Not in the description: The rail is applied to the crib EXACTLY as shown in the picture! It is NOT reversible to fit across the opposite end of your crib. My son slept on the opposite end of the crib (the right side when facing front) so we had to adjust him - but it worked out fine. This is a very nice matching rail... Color is right on. My only concern is the possibility of my toddler bumping the edge of it with his head but it's pretty rounded...So far he hasn't bumped it and corner protectors can easily be applied if he does I suppose.
