Durable, soft and absorbent.
I use these washcloths to give my baby a bath and it's a good size that I can drape it over my baby's chest to help keep him warm during the bath too.
I also use these washcloths at my changing table and place over my boy's bottom to prevent any accidental peeing. If my son decides to pee while I'm changing his diaper these washcloths have caught and absorbed it all so I didn't have a big mess to clean up. Great preventative tool. :)

I put the pack in the wash on regular cycle, to "pre-wash" before the baby was born, with a few other baby clothes. Folding the laundry a few hours later I see all the yellow wash clothes, tattered, or rather old looking, threads coming out, etc. Looks like they are used, 3 year old wash clothes and we didn't even have our first bath. I took off my registry. I did notice the Carter ones were put in the same cycle and came out looking just as new and nice.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I actually found these to be very soft, and they also survived a washing unlike some of the other washcloths that I have. Very cute!

The cloths are adorable. Visually, they were just what I expected. However, I thought they would be a bit more soft since they are made for babies. They feel like regular, ordinary washcloths. I'm sure with a little fabric softener they'll be fine though.
