Works great UNLESS you have pets. We have a cat and just a little bit of hair or fuzz will clog up the gears on the wheels and stop it from working. The 10 minutes it worked, it was great. I vacuum every day but I have a long hair cat so there are always going to be some hairs on my floor and carpet. Spent quite a bit of time trying to remove it from the gears but finally gave up.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My two boys ages, 11 and almost 3, love them. Only downfall is that hair from the carpet gets wrapped around the gears and has to be cut out frequently. They don't work as well on the hardwood floor either. But they love them just the same!
