I purchased 5 kits to use with my Cub Scout Den. The boys are 8yo and completing the 3rd grade. The moms ended up spending the evening untangling the wire, and the boys lost interest and ended up playing tag. This was only after the 2nd step, so the boys really didn't do anything. It was a complete failure and a big disappointment. I would not recommend this kit unless maybe you are working with a single child and can help them wrap the wire without it getting tangled. It probably is rewarding and alot of fun if you can get past that step.
