We purchased this set which included the crib and two dressers for our baby due in Dec 12. When we got it home it was in horrible condition and the quality was so poor. The dresser drawers were jammed shut and had nails sticking out all over it. The crib had missing pieces and chips in the wood. Customer service was useless. I am returning all three pieces as I don't want my baby sleeping in a crib made so poorly. Spend a little more money for a sturdier set. This was very disappointing.

I love the way the dresser looks, but for the cost I would expect smoother gliding of the drawers. Make sure you bring a large vehicle to pick up the item from the store because it comes pre-assembled in a very large box. Despite being packaged very well, one of the drawers was jammed off of the track. After a lot of pulling, I got the drawer out and my husband was able to adjust the roller so that it is level. Overall it seems like a nice piece of furniture, but as I said before I would expect a little bit higher quality for the price.

We ordered from Babi Italia again, as we have the eastside set for our 3 year old and love it. However, this furniture was 200 more, and made cheaply. I expected the same quality furniture as my daughter has, and it's not. The crib is okay, but the six drawer dresser is so cheaply made it is unreal. Right out of the box, 3 drawers were stuck from being put in crooked. The middle two will not close all the way, and all of them constantly fall off the tracks. You have to lift the drawers up to even get them open. Bottom line, I'm beyond disappointed in the quality.

This dresser is sturdy and solid wood. The drawers are of good quality with dove tail construction in both the front and back of the drawers. I agree with other reviews that the sliding mechanism for the drawers is a little on the cheap side but the drawers slide out and catch on the mechanism and it takes extra effort to pull the drawer all the way out of the dresser. I especially love the dark stain on the dresser. It looks expensive and the moldings and details are top notch. Definitely a good purchase!

This was a gift from my inlaws when they went to pick the product up, they had it opened at the store.Apparently there were nails sticking out of the side instead of the wood. So they did not take it and asked for a new one.The new on came in in beautiful condition. It looks wonderful with the two other pieces in the set! I would recommend this to anyone. It is very sturdy and in the end the one we recieved is well made with lots of drawer space! But as with the crib, it is a bit pricey, I am a bargain shopper but we are hoping this will be a one time buy.

We were thrilled when we opened the box.. which due to the nature of the packaging took a bit of effort. It is a beautiful color and very heavy, like you would expect of good quality furniture. We bought the convertible crib with this dresser with hopes of our son "growing" with the furniture. And I think he will be able to do that. I just wish the drawer slides were a higher quality type. They seem a bit cheap, and the drawer wobbles a bit when they are opened. My only thought is that this could get better when we get the drawers filled with clothes etc. maybe.... or worse :(
No assembly required, and the smell seemed like new furniture smell to me. And has since gone away.

The drawer railings on these dressers are so flimsy and loose, in fact one drawer just failed and came off the track when it was delivered. It is really unfortunate, since these looked to be higher quality in the store, but even [...] drawers have better hardware.VERY disappointed!!!

I just received this dresser and I cannot get over how beautiful it is. The box took a while to open due to how securely the dresser was packaged. The dresser came completely assembled, which was great, but we were unable to fit it in the back of our SUV. The drawers roll out so nicely and quietly. Looks and feels like it will last a long time.

Purchased the whole set from babi italia. The products are very durable and the appearnce is awesome. The furniture looks so much nicer than my bedroom....but I guess that's okay because my two little boys will be happy for many years to come..
