This is ideal for those on a tight budget, who have smaller rooms or are sharing with baby. Ease of assembly seems to be a major issue for many who have purchased this crib. Lets face it, not many of us are "handy" or "patient" which is why the ease of assembly is touched on in many reviews. If you follow the directions and are competent, expect to spend about two hours putting this crib together.

A lot of people said get a different mattress. I agree. The one they sell with it is worthless and you might as well just put your kid directly on the springs.

I think the MOST IMPORTANT think to note is this. If you are planning on getting a crib that you can later convert to a bed, this is not for you. Apparently, Sorrelle no longer makes the conversion kits for this crib or the crib itself. They stopped making both in early 2012 is the story I got when calling the manufacturer for the conversion kit. I guess some of the big box baby stores have a plethora of old models in stock. It's a given as well you won't be able to get parts for this either (if you break the cabinet door or drawer, etc).

Overall good crib and looks good, but do not buy if you want to get a crib that converts. And if you get a crib that you plan on converting, buy the conversion kit at the same time just to be safe. ;-)

I have used this crib for my son since he was born. He is now almost a year and it fits all our needs! He is longer than the changing table, but that has not been a problem. His feet don't usually stay all that still for a diaper change anyways! I really like the way the changing table is set up so that you are not standing besides the baby, but in front of them. I have the crib on its lowest setting as far as the mattress goes and my son can stand and it is not a safety risk. He is a tall boy too! If your willing to let the crib grow with your child and move the mattress height you will have no problems in that area. I would have liked to see the shelves placed differently as we have ours against a wall and therefore you can't use the back shelves. I have noticed that the wood is soft and it scratches easily. I highly recommend finding a good mini crib mattress and related sheets. I found all mine online and I had no difficulty finding things that fit the mattress size. I suggest doing your research and know what you want in a crib. I am very happy we went with this one!

Pros: Great quality. Very pretty. The drawers and shelves are super convenient.

Cons: I bought this because I was short on space, which was great, but I regret the purchase now. My son outgrew the changing table at 6-months, and he's about to outgrow the crib itself at 11-months. I can't find the conversion kit, and neither could the man I spoke with at Babies R Us. He suggested I call the manufacturer to figure it out, which means I won't be able to use my 20% off coupon. Plus, finding mini-crib accessories/bedding is difficult and the selction is EXTREMELY limited. Going to try my best to find the kit to make the most of it, but next baby? I'm getting a full-size crib w/ a separate full-size changing table.

Crib was VERY difficult to assemble.There were screws missing from the assembly package! Used it for both of my kids. Both grew out of the changing table by 3 months. Storage space is awkward. Shelves are located behind the cabinet but no shelves inside the cabinet!! My 2 year old grew out of this crib at around 8 months, my 10 month old has completely grown out of this crib. I did have to buy another crib that was normally sized to accomodate my older kid. I would not waste money on this again. We have small living space and thought this crib would be great. It was for 6 months, and then it became a burden! If i could do it over again with small living space I would have just bought a pack and play. This crib is a waste of time, space, and energy.

Bought this for my daughter when she was having her first baby; the room was compact so this offered two important items for one cost. Little lenghty but easy enough to assemble and it held up very well for the first child. She used the crib until the baby became 2 1/2 then knocked it down to the toddler bed. At age 4 she was still in the bed and the bed held up well but it was time to reassemble it for an infant again which by now was a snap to do and the second child is still in it as she is not quite a year old. After over 4 years of constant daily use, there is NOTHING wrong with this crib/toddler bed and could be easily reused again for a 3rd child without hesitation. Great product, and now a neice will be purchasing the same bed for her newborn.

We co-sleep, so this crib only gets used for naps during the day. It's held up nicely for the year that we've had it. True, it's not the greatest quality, and it certainly won't last until my son goes off to college, but for the price, I'm not complaining. We plan on using it as a toddler bed, but we will likely buy a new, higher-quality bed when he's around 3.

Overall, I'm happy with it. It's a good option for smaller rooms, or for light use like we use it. Don't expect it to hold up for 18 years, but as a beginning piece of furniture, it's a good deal.

Those complaining about the "false advertising" of it being convertible, it's pretty clearly stated in the online description that the conversion kit is sold separately. At the actual stores, on the item info, it states the same thing.

Poor quality. Was shipped with no instructions and it was all scratched and dinged up. No way to buy replacement items as the maker no longer makes them. Flimsy and small. Don't waste the $ on ths!

good for a premmie or small newborn but once the baby gets bigger, there is no room for them. the bars are not tall enough so when the baby can stand up it is unsafe. it is nice that the changing table is attacted but it quickly becomes too small for the baby and they kick their heels on the wood. if you are gonna pay this much for a crib, save your money by buying a full size one

Don't get it. your baby will out grow the changing table before you can convert it to a toddler bed. Besides, you will have to pay more money later to get coversion kit to convert to toddler bed. not worth it. the changing table puts you in an awkard position
thus makes it hard to change diaper.
