    I bought this for my 3 year old daughter because she loves safari animals and she loves mommy and babies, so this was perfect for her. The animals are kind of squishy so if you happened to accidentally step on one or have one thrown at you or any of your other children, it wouldn't hurt...at least not badly. The trees, though, are hard plastic so watch out! The only thing that you have to be careful about is making sure that all the animals are in the package before you buy it! The animals come in a clear plastic bag that you can zip open and closed. I bought this at a Toys'R'Us store and when I got home and let my daughter play with it I noticed that there was no baby elephant (which just so happens to be her favorite animal)! I don't know if the manufacturer made a mistake and didn't put all the parts in the bag, or if someone at the store opened the bag up to look at the product, took some of the animals out and didn't put them back. I don't know, but if you buy this product in the store, make sure all the parts are there! [...]

      I bought this for my 21 month old grandson. It is his number one toy to play with. He sorts mothers with their babies, practices "big" and "small," and has learned all the correct names for the animals. I love that they are a soft, squishy material. His little toy cowboys can ride all of them. This toy was well worth the money.

        This is the est present my son received for his birthday! He has spent hours playing with them. He's only 3 years old. He also tells me which animal is which and which is a mommy and which is a baby. I'm planning on getting another set for him. It's completely worth [$]. They are also a soft plastic and not hard.           My son is 19 months old and loves this set. The animals are a soft molded plastic, not hard. He likes to chew on them, but there doesn't seem to be any danger of ripping, tearing or choking. They are a great size, and a wonderful teaching tool. We practice naming the animals and deciphering which one is the Momma and the Baby. Great buy, I highly recommend!

                I have a 3 year old and a 18 month old. These are their favorite toys! My 3 year old learned her animals with them and loves to play Mommy and Baby with them. Nice soft plastic, very durable, cute rather than too life like and scary looking. Great toys for animal loving kids!

                  My son just turned 2 and loves the zoo and animals. These might have been THE best birthday gift he received! They are a soft plastic and do not have holes in them so they are safe for the bathtub (won't get mold/mildew inside them from the water). We always have one or two or more in our diaper bag at all times! I highly recommend this product! They are great for kids of all ages, as I think even a young one could play/chew on this and it be safe!
