We got this for my 8 year old son for Christmas. He absolutely loves it. I had a bigger/better one when I was a child and this doesn't hold a candle to it, though. It's more like a $30 piano that's a bit overpriced. BTW! IT DOESN'T COME WITH THE A/C ADAPTER!!!!!!! How inconvenient is that?! I've tried Wal-Mart and radio shack. I'm now searching online for one. It's frustrating. Really, unless you check on where to get the adapter first, I would pass on this. (9.5v adapters aren't as easy to find btw).

The keyboard is great! Our 1 year old son who already loves music just LIT UP when he saw it. Unfortunately, I ordered the the adaptor that is listed with the casio mini keyboard on this site. It does not fit the keyboard. (sigh). I looked at the keyboard on [@] and ToysRus. [@] users warned about the incompatibility of the adaptor. Because the one shown with the keyboard on ToysRus site looked different and they list them together, I thought it would work. It didn't. Unfortunately, the write up on this adaptor on this site does not give the model number to compare with the keyboard package or the one listed on [@]. Don't buy the adaptor here.

This Casio is of professional quality...I know, because I have a KORG keyboard and a Gulbransen Organ, and am a professional musician. The little grandchildren love it. It will help them to be introduced to music in a new way. You can play multi-keys at the same time. The pre-recorded tunes are very well done! FUN!

This is a fantastic starter keyboard. It's lightweight which makes it easy for preschoolers to carry it but it still feels solid. My 5 year old son loves it and plays with it everyday. This is definitely worth the extra $10 is costs compared to a First Act keyboard.

I received this today and am very happy with it. It is a nice weight for a child. My daughter will have no problem carrying it around. It has lots of different tones/songs/tunes for her to experiment with and it looks like it is going to be really easy for her to figure out how to work everything. Also, the tiny keys are so perfect for her tiny hands!Two reasons I only gave it 4 stars: I think a 30.00 price tag would've been better. I'm not sure that had I seen it in the store for [$] I would've bought it. Also, the tones at the top are not individually labeled. Like 1-10 are different pianos, well what type of pianos? We will never know bc it doesn't say.
