The guitar is pretty awesome, my 2 year old loves it. It is not an actual instrument for learning to play properly, it is a toy which is exactly what I was looking for. Since I had a hard time deciphering this information:
*The whole guitar is plastic, not wooden
*There are 4 nylon strings, all the same diamater
*The tuning pegs do turn, but you're not likely to get the guitar to stay in tune, especially if your chlid figures out that the pegs turn.
*The guitar measures about 20 inches from the top of the neck to the bottom of the body and 6.5 inches at the widest part of the body. Perfect size for my 2 year old.

Overall, 2 year old son enjoys the guitar. But we did not get the Woody Round Up Guitar that was pictured. We were never informed of the change in the item. The item received was a baby blue color Woody guitar, nothing like the brown one shown on the website. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and website not being updated to reflect change.

I bought this guitar for my 2 year old. He has had it now 2 years total and it is still working like a charm and has put up with a lot of toddler abuse... for those of you looking for a guitar that is an actual guitar.. GO TO THE MUSIC STORE AND PICK ONE OUT! you are buying a guitar from a toy store.. it is going to be a TOY! it is small but that is why younger kids can enjoy it! even my four year old still plays it and it is perfect for him.. Kids dont care about actual size of a guitar.. they are looking to pretend not to put on a performance.. (psycho tiger parents sheesh!) I remember being a kid and finding a small guitar and pretending i was in hawaii playing a ukeleli
my kid uses it as a guitar most days but on other days, he finds a drumstick and pretends it is his violin...kids use their imagination more than we parents do most days.. I recommend it highly as it is a good TOY... holds up well and is still one of the favorite toys in our house.

I let my son pick this toy out for his 6th birthday. I didn't think he'd have much fun with it, being so small and plastic, but he LOVES it. It's not like he knows what a REAL guitar is like, so he is having plenty of fun with the toy, strumming and pretending to be a rock star.

My 2-year-old son loves playing instruments, specially guitar. He recently outgrew his Vtech toy guitar, and asked for a real guitar with strings. We got him a First Act acoustic guitar, but it's too big for him and broke in 10 days. I went to TRU and got this one as exchange. It's a mini guitar made of plastic, perfect for toddlers. My son loves it, even sleeps with it, :).

I had read the reviews before purchasing so I already knew this was a "toy" guitar. And that is exactly what it is, a toy. Do not buy expecting your child to be getting a real guitar. My son loves it!

I brought this this product for my four year old grandsion. It seemed big on the computer but when I received the item, it was small. At first I was mad but then once my grandson got his hands on this guitar he loved it! MAn he can not put it down plus he has dropped it a hundrend times and it is still in great condition.

We gave this to our 2 year old grandson so he could play guitar with his dad. Being only 2, he is supervised since it is recommended for older children.
It is a great thing for him because he loves to play guitar and now he has one of his own.
The price was high for such a toy and I think $12 to $15 is more reasonable, but the time dad and son are sharing with their guitars is priceless!

Bought this for my great nephew, he's 3 yrs old. He wasn't as excited about it as I was!
