Not truly morphibian!

This vehicle has a very low center of gravity, which only makes it work on somewhat smooth surfaces, otherwise it will get stuck on it's belly. So no rock climbing! The remote can't get wet, the antenna can't get wet and neither can the top of the vehicle, or it will stop working. Unfortunately they did not include a rubber seal in the battery compartment, so water does get in. It can only float on top of fresh water. So no ocean explorations!
My son is 5 1/2 and loves it, despite it's limitations.

I've seen other reviewers who have said their Morphibians have failed after being used in water, but so far mine are doing fine. My family uses them in the yard and in the pool with no problems. They are a blast!

Also, if you want to use two at the same time, to race, etc., here's what Kid Galaxy customer service told me (very helpful customer support, by the way):

We manufacture two frequencies (27 MHz and 49 MHz) for all our radio controlled vehicles. In order to operate them independently you must have one Morfibian in 27 MHz and one in 49 MHz. Below are the Morphibians styles and frequencies:

27 MHZ - Gator, Rover, Killer Whale
49 MHz - Explorer, Land Shark

Hope this is helpful to those of you who want to use two at the same time. For the price, you just can't beat these fun, rugged RC Morphibians!
