My nephew LOVED this. He wanted to set it up right away after he unwrapped it. The item was a bit smaller than I expected. I really wish it wasn't battery operated so that it could support a brighter light and stay on longer. The Earth's night sky was cool, but it would have been neat to have the actual constellation names as well. Other than that, it was worth every penny. The star charts helped my nephew observe all the places he just saw while watching "The Force Awakens", as well as the stars and planets in our galaxy. We ended up using the Star Wars vehicles I bought him to have a shadow battle among the stars projected on the ceiling. It was really fun for both of us!

Like another reviewer, mine also broke within minutes of me putting it together. I am going to email the company to see if they will do anything, as I do not trust simply exchanging it now. This was a birthday gift for my step son. He was very excited about it and protested us taking it back, so I would like for him to be able to enjoy it. Our issue was that first the lightbulb would not stay into the socket properly. Then, once we had everything in place and screwed back in, it would not turn off. The button that you push to switch on/off does not click the switch, just goes in and out.

Comments about Uncle Milton Star Wars Science Death Star Planetarium:

I bought this for a birthday present for my 2 y/o grandson who is BIG TIME into Star Wars. After he removed wrapping paper, he INSTANTLY recongnized it as
        THE DEATH STAR.
His dad quickly put it together (you need a small screw driver to install the light bulb and batteries), and then he and other adults at party went into bathroom and turned off lights to see what it was like.
Poor kid, everyone else was playing with this "nightlight" thing.
The star galaxy that was being displayed was the stars from the Star Wars movies.
FYI, buy batteries for this, as they are not included.

I 5hiught this would be a cool gift for my 4 yr old to light up his room at night. It's alright. It lights up and the idea is you have the Starbucks Wars galaxy or the night sky projected onto the ceiling. However, you would have to put it on a high shelf or something closer to the ceiling than a tall dresser to get it to project clearly. The planet names and stars get lost in blurriness and the stars just look like fuzzy light blobs on the walls and ceiling. Totally disappointed. That's probably why all the toys by this manufacturer were 20% offor when I bought it. I mean it's cool that it looks like the Death Star, but it just doesn't work very well.
