I have foolishly purchased 4 of this product! The first two I bought (to rotate through) lasted a few months before the elasticized edges tore. I thought that maybe I just had a bad batch. I also wanted my son to sleep on an organic mattress cover, since his mattress & sheets were also organic. Anyways, I bought 2 more. One of those tore after the second washing! I will NEVER buy one of these again and I will be sure that no one I knows buys it either!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The fabric is nice and the waterproof works, however after only using the pad for 6 months half of the quilting stiching is coming apart. I would not recommend this mattress pad for the quality of the craftmanship.

It's an ok product. We also got the naturepedic mattress cover and like that one better. But it's good to have a second one for times when we are dealing with mind-night leaks and need a back-up mattress cover while cover #1 is in the laundry.

I bought this mattress pad to go along with the new mattress we bought. I thought since it was more expensive than some mattress pads that it would be great! I was worried about it truly being water proof but I didn't even get that far with it. I washed it on light cycle as soon as I took it out of the bag. When I went to put it on the mattress, I started at one end and noticed something looked weird. As I looked more closely the seam had ripped all the way across one end. Seems like this product is VERY POOR QUALITY! I bought it online, to avoid having to go into the store, now I have to find another one that is truly water proof AND put together with durability. It's a mattress pad, it has to be able to be washed quite frequently with babies!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Washes well and fits crib well. I like this mattress pad because you don't have to stretch or pull to fit over the mattress as I have experienced with other mattress pads. You pay a little more for this product, but it lasts longer and is definitely higher quality.
