Introducing a 2-in-1 Take-n-Play playset featuring the Island of Sodor and Misty Island from the new Thomas and Friends DVD - Misty Island Rescue. Now you can relieve the excitement and bring Thomas back to Sodor from Misty Island. One side of the playset features Misty Island, complete with dark brown track and two levels of play. Use the logging crane to break through the logs to reveal a tunnel or pick up the logs. Place Thomas on the top level and press the button to activate Shake-Shake Bridge. Thomas will rattle and shake over the bridge and bust through the tunnel to Sodor. The Island of Sodor side is complete with standard silver track. A lever reveals hidden tunnel back to Misty Island. The center post on the bridge also double as the carry handle and the entire set folds up for easy storage! Comes with die-cast Thomas engine.

I bought this for my almost 3 year old son because he adores trains & Thomas. We began collecting the Take along sets because we can pack them and take them to Grandmas or in the car very easy. This set is cute and my son is playing with it now. It has a platform you put the train on and then pull a level back and it should release the train and shake the bridge (bridge only shakes for 2 seconds or so). I can't say the lever really releases the trains to go across the bridge well but my son doesn't mind, he just pushes them across. I wish the shaking on the bridge would last longer though. As the train is going down the ramp sometimes they do fall off but again it doesn't bother my son (just wanted to note it as it may bother some people). There is also a drawbridge type door at the bottom of the set that he enjoys.

Like a previous review mentioned it does not come with any blue "water" or a boat and the picture is deceiving. but I just read the description on what was included and figured the boat would not be included. It is sold separately though. So overall if your kiddo loves Thomas this is a good set. Great addition to what we already had. And I think the price is a bit high but what toy isn't nowadays?

My 2year old really loves this set. It's very entertaining. My only problem is that I think it is way too overpriced for the quality. My son can take it a part with ease, but then can never get it back together. If you have a child that puts things in their mouth then do not purchase. The doors on the cave come off easily and could be a choking hazard. I would purchase another one of these sets because my son does enjoy them, however, I refuse to pay close to $40 or more on one.

i bought it for my nephew for christmas and he loves it. It goes great with his take n play thomas sets but it does not stay together well and is really flimsy when he pushes the trains over it.

We are big fans of the Thomas tracks and take along sets. My children do not really watch the Thomas show since they are fans of other train shows, but we prefer to purchase Thomas tracks since they seem to be the best quality and most interactive sets. Therefore we are very happy that we are able to use other brand die cast trains on these tracks as well. The picture on this particular set is a little misleading since there is no water as shown so obviously with the blue coloring, but this is not something that is needed or missed. The shake-shake bridge is very impressive and loved by my children. It is fun to see Thomas soar down the hill and through the doors. I would have liked for there to be a way to attach tracks to get to the top of the mountain, but the kids seem content with just having to place him up there themselves. This is a fun set and folds up nicely and easily for storage.

My three year old girl loves her "bridge." The set is easy to set up and put away. She has a great time sending the trains down the ramp, even if some of the larger trains don't make it to the bottom on their wheels. The picture is a little decieving: It doesn't come with that blue area, but you can add that on your own. Overall a very nice playset.

This was the first Take Along item we purchased for our 2 year old son. It was a good choice. Not only does the ramp send the engines across Shake Shake bridge it also sends them speeding down a ramp! My son loves this toy. The set up is easy but he is not able to do it on his own yet. The only complaint I have is the doors that the train breaks through did not stay close after the second day of play.
