My almost 3-year old son got this item from Santa, along with a train table and track, and he has used this piece the least. Though he adores the other items, he has not played much with this piece. As it is so large, it takes up a lot of space on the table. As with other Thomas Wooden items, this is a sturdy, well-made piece.

I purchased this while in Connecticut for my Grandson just 2 months ago. It was not on sale. I payed full price. He was so excited, as he already has a large collection of trains at 3 years of age. My daughter called to tell me the paint was already chipping and she called the manufacturer to see if it could be replaced. She was told NO. IT WAS A PRODUCT THEY MADE A FEW YEARS AGO. What difference does that make. It should not be chipping this quick. I am very disappointed with their response . I WILL NOT BE BUYING ANY MORE OF THIS COMPANY'S TOYS. THERE ARE OTHER BRANDS OF TRAINS THAT MY GRANDSON CAN ENJOY FOR MANY YEARS TO COME. BAD TOMY.......

Bought this on sale as a special present for DS, who is a big Thomas fan (he's 3 yo). I thought he was going to cry when he opened the box, he was so happy. He's been dying for a turntable and getting Tidmouth Sheds, too, was a big bonus for him. He plays with this all of the time and it works great. It's nice that he has a destination for his trains to go to when he and his friends move them around the tracks. Great toy!

Since this is a Christmas present for my grandson I haven't opened it but I trust that it is in good condition.

Just what my middle son wanted for Christmas. He has spent countless hours turning the trains on the turntable and then parking them in the house to "sleep". Well worth the money as I'm sure it it will last as well as our other Thomas accesories.

Kevin's eyes lit up when he opened this, as now his trains had a "house." He likes to put his trains in the house to eat and sleep. It is nicely made and sturdy. My only complaint is it won't fit in the container where his track and train pieces are stored, so I don't know what do do with it when he's not using it.
