I ordered these to go with the organic ergo we finally use on a regualr basis with my 7 month old. He is teething like crazy so whenever we put him in the ergo, he is contantly chewing on the straps. I saw these and thought they might be more comfortable for him to chew on, a little cleaner, and would be easier to take off and throw in the washing machine than it would be to wash the entire ergo. so far so good! they are easy to snap on and he went right for them!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The first thing my son did when I put him in our new Ergo was to start chewing on the straps, so I went out the same day and got these. I could have easily made something similar, I have the same kind of fabric actually, but for the price it was easy to just pick these up. I wish they were wider at the bottom so they could go down lower (he is only 4 months old and chews on the very bottom of the straps), but I just left the bottom snap undone on the pad and it went down lower to cover the part where the strap meets the carrier. Works great!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

they are great. My daughter is 4 months old and I carry her everywhere in the Ergo. She is teething was sucking on the Ergo strap and giving herself blisters from rubbing the material. These sucking pads are a face-saver for sure! Plus, I just pull them off and throw in the wash every few days to keep them fresh and nice looking and CLEAN for baby's mouth.:-)
I'm sure you could make your own, but these are so easy! I only wish they went down further, but that wouldn't really work for the design of the new Performance Ergo I have. Plus, she'll be taller in no time and won't have her face so low anymore.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Good idea to put on your Ergo if you don't want your baby sucking on the straps themselves. These pads are easy to put on (velcro) and machine washable. The Ergo carrier itself can be machine washed but the product instructions warn of washing it too often.
