This seat was a snap to install. I did it in less than 10 minutes and it was really secure. I did put my weight on it sort of sitting facing the seat and used my knee to push down. It has been in for about 5 months and doesn't seem to be loosening up any. I used the latch tethers. It feels very safe. My son hops right in and puts his arms in the straps. I love the mechanism to work the straps. It is easy and doesn't hurt my hand like his last seat. One complaint is that you can't remove the straps in case you have to clean them. Otherwise most snacks and spills wipe off with a baby wipe if you get to it soon. The fabric wipes up easily too. . I liked this seat so much, we got one for my husband's truck. Unfortunately the back seat in the truck is shallow so it has to be installed in the completely upright position. This makes it look uncomfortable when our son naps, we have to prop his head up. I don't really consider that a con. Very happy with these seats.

My son hated his infant car seat and when we upgraded to this he loves it. I did my research and with the budget of having to buy two, this was rated the best in safety.

I have been very please with this product. I felt secure in putting my son in it when he was a few months old, and he is broaching on 2.5. It is safe and sturdy.

This seat is in our daily driver and being used RF for my almost 14 month old son. I love the ease of getting him in and out, and how easy it is to tighten the straps due to the tightener being on the side, as opposed to being wedged against the back of the vehicle seat. The click to adjust shoulder straps are also a time saver and make it ultra easy to get a proper shoulder level. The only thing about the seat that I dislike is that it is a bit bulky and wide. At this time though, with having only two children and driving a late model SUV (99 Blazer), the width is only a minor inconvenience. I don't much care for the cup holder, but also have no use for it so it's a bit of a moot complaint. If I were to re-design the seat, I would put emphasis on trying to make the seat less wide, while retaining the great features that it has. The seat was purchased when my infant outgrew his travel system seat, and he seems to find the Triumph to be far more comfortable.

I got this car seat for my second child and I did a lot of research before purchasing. My daughter has the Graco Nautilus 3 in 1, but it does not go rear facing. I was looking for a convertible seat that wasn't enormous. I looked at the Graco my ride in the store and it was huge. I compared the dimension of that one with this seat and this one is supposedly smaller. However, we got it out of the box and it is by no means small. I have a Toyota 4Runner and it fits just fine and the passenger seat it is behind can be moved back pretty far even when the car seat is rear facing. The width is what is very large. I guess that will be true of most convertible car seats since I compared these dimesnsions with many others and this was the smallest. That is my only complaint though. The fabric is very soft and cushiony. I love the color. The cup holder can fold down when not in use and pivots to adjust to the angle. I LOVE the no rethread harness, makes it very easy to use and adjust. It is not easy to access the recline lever when rear facing, but you don't need to because it needs to be at the lowest recline at all times when rear facing. I'm really pleased with this seat and my son seems comfortable. Lastly, the chest part of the harness is a bit finicky, just pull from the side the button is attached to and not the insert side to undo and it works great. The fact that I got such a plush and nice seat on sale makes it even better! It is also easy to install, we just had to add a rolled up towel to adjust for the slant in our seats. I only started using this with my ten month old, but my 3 year old daughter sat in it and liked it and I could see a newborn being very comfortable in it.

Bought for my twins for price and the adjustable straps. I love that the straps will always be at the correct height without have to rethread them. The boys are very comfy in the car.

I love this car seat for the most part, but it does have its cons. It is very sturdy and has so much room to grow. It stays in place in my car and I love the way the straps adjust. Although the cons to this seat is that it is very difficult to clean. My son is two so I have to clean it often. Crumbs, candy, food, etc get down in the seat and I can not get that stuff out. The straps don't come off to be able to clean the seat. I hate having to clean it because it is so hard to do. Otherwise it is a great seat. O and it is very heavy too and I am very small so it's hard to move.

This is my 3rd child and I wish I would have had this seat for my other 2. I absolutely love this seat! We spend a lot of time in the car, it provides great comfort and was really easy to install. I love that you can adjust the straps with just a turn of the knob. It's nice for those days that a jacket is required, so a little more room is needed in the straps. So much easier than having to adjust from the back. We got an excellent price on this and loved the look is the reason we bought it, but after using it I would have gladly paid so much more for this seat.

I have 2 kids and this is by far the best car seat I have EVER had!!
I love that you don't have to unbuckle, and unstrap this car seat just to adjust the straps. It can fit my 20 month old and it can fit my almost 4 year old with just a few pushes of the buttons.
It isn't made of felt so my son doesn't get out of it with a sweaty back.
