I bought this when my son was 18 months old. He was a little short for it but still could get on and scoot around. As he grew into it his skill level increased and now at 2 years 7 months he flies around on this thing. I love that he can balance and hope he can move from this to normal bike without training wheels. It was a bit slippery to use on our wood floors but after a few knee bruising crashes he over came it. On pavement it does great, and it can really take a beating since it is solid heavy duty plastic. He knocks it over, and crashes it on purpose and it looks brand new!!

When I was researching balance bikes for toddlers I wanted to make sure I bought one that was not too tall for my short two year old. This one works! She got on it right away and started pushing around using her legs. She hasn't started to glide with her feet up yet, but it's only been a couple of weeks. I'm very happy with this purchase as my shorty hasn't been able to use her tricycle yet because even with the seat moved up she can't reach the pedals for an entire cycle. We've only been riding it in the house so I can't speak too much to its durability. The plastic wheels might take a beating outside but they are thick enough that I think they should be okay.

I perchased this bike for my daughter's 3rd birthday. I love the idea of a balance bike and thought this one would be perfect. However when I was putting this bike together I had some second thoughts. The entire bike, including the wheels, is plastic. Very durable plastic, but plastic all the same. I live on a dirt road, and plastic wheels don't go well with rocks. The second thing I don't like is that it doesn't adjust to her hight. She is a little too tall to use this one comfortably. I'm currantly in the process of returning it for a new bike.

That being said, I do think this would be a great bike for a 2 year old who lives on a paved road.

We bought this for my daughter's second birthday. It was fast and easy to put together. My daughter was able to ride it right away. She loves having a bike like her big brother. It is well made and seems that it will last for a long time. Great design that teaches balance.
