I bought the item for my 2 children in november of 2011. The battery charger stopped working 10 months later. Which is still under manufacturers warranty. I called the manufacturer they told me to call N.E.W. the extended warranty division. So i called them, they stated that it was still under manufacturer's warranty and that i needed to talk to them... >:( VERY ANNOYING! so i called them back and the manufacturer said that they will say anything to get out of paying for anything. So i called them back and tehy tell me an new story that the charger isnt covered under teh extended warranty WTH! I stated to them that i was told at checkout that it covered everything and they said no the salesperson lied to you! another excuse. So i asked what does it cover? They said everyday wear and tear... I said that is everyday wear and tear. I got so frustrated I hung up and the worst part is NO ONE SELLS THE STUPID CHARGER FOR THE CAR NOT EVEN THE MANUFACTURER! so if you buy this product buy and extra charger (if you can find one) b/c you wont be able to later!

Car is great! My son loves it. My only commplaint is that the doors don't stay shut when he is driving, but that maybe because he is going faster than the stock setup. I have since fixed that issue. If you are looking to modify this vehicle it can hold the stock battery plus two more under the seats. Also a great vehicle to add LED lights like a real police cruiser.

Had this car for a year and a half now. This car is awesome. Got it for my 4 year old son on his 3rd birthday. It took a while to assemble, but he absolutely loves it. The battery will last days and he has ridden it for hours at a time. We even take it to the park and he rides it all over. We even went around our block once which is over a mile, and the battery wasn't even fully charged when we left. The rubber centers on the tires is better than any Power Wheels. My son changes gears while driving, and has even crashed it a few times and it just keeps going. I have nothing negative to say about this car.

We bought this for my son's third birthday. He's a few weeks shy of being four.

Pros:
-Great battery life. We don't have to charge it as often as I though.
-There is a loud speaker that allows the child to have more of a creative play experience.
-Easy to drive.
-Sirens light up! (What boy wouldn't love this?! Even my 18 month old daughter loves it!)
-Easy to get in and out with the doors.

Cons
-Assembly was quite hectic and took awhile to do.
-No seat belts for safety.

Cool features, plenty of room for 2 kids, battery life is great, great appearance. GREAT toy that I would totally buy again. The only con - there are treads on each wheel that are like 1 inch wide. They come off frequently, but aren't really needed for riding in our yard.

My two kids both ride together in it. It will go slow or fast when you remove the screw. My 3 year old handles the vehicle perfectly at the top speed. I walk along side him as he drives at the top speed. The vehicle is fun and attracts attention from all the neighbors.

Pros: The vechicle is fast, fun, and has cool lights and sounds. The kids can ride in it together. It climbs fast and treads over the grass without a blink. The rubber on the tires adds additional traction. The battery lasts long.

Resolved Issue: It is possible for the doors to pop open as I saw in the store. However, I adjusted the doors during installaiton by holding the doors in the closed position as I tightened the screws. I ensured that the doors were positioned correctly before adding the dash board. I don't have any issues with that now.

Cons: Due to the rubber on the center of the wheel only, the car will do some bouncing on the front end when turning. A bit bothersome to me but completely irrelevant to the kids.

The granddaughter - 5 & 2 1/2 - just love it. They could wait to get out in the backyard and ride it. After about 4 hours of instalation fun, it was worth all the time and money to see the joy it brought the kids.

The kids love the car.... problem is I can't find a replacement charger for it. I have tried every local store & about 200 websites. If anyone knows of a place/website where I can find one please let me know. Thanks =)

Really cute, fun.
