We liked the look of this bike in the store. We didn't want to get a character type bike for our 6-year old.
Upon getting the box home, we started putting the bike together, the issues that we had are this:
1. One of the first steps is to attach the kickstand. There was NO kickstand in the box, but the directions clearly state that there should be. Not that big of a deal since you can go buy an adjustable one rather cheaply.
2. Next problem was that the front wheel was bent, enough that it was significantly rubbing the front brakes.
3. The next problem is that the wheels do not spin freely. Upon giving the back tire a good spin, it maybe went around 2 times. I read some other reviews about properly greasing the bearings, etc. But because of the bent front wheel, we have decided to forgo tearing the thing apart and are just returning it instead.

We also bought a 20" Avigo for my son today and unfortunately it is also going back tomorrow.

We liked this bike in the store. Problem #1 - step #2 attach the kick stand (it was not included in the box). Problem #2 - the front wheel was bent. Problem #3 - rear wheel would not spin freely.
Put the rest of the bike together even though we had problems, only to find out that it is very hard to pedal.
Also purchased a 20" Avigo Fade today for my son to have that front wheel bent, and issues with the front forks. Both Avigo's going back tomorrow. :(

Great bike, this was a christmas present for our daughter (who didn't want a pink princess bike, which is hard to find for a 6yr old)she loves it has ridden it every day since she got it! The bike was easy to put together and works great, since she doesnt use training wheels it would be nice to have a kickstand.

FOR: 5 y/o,38lb,3 1/2 foot child.

Two people took home and assembled. Box was reasonable enough to put in our 4 door car. This bike REQUIRES(per manual):

7" Phillips screw driver
Standard slip joint pliers
5 and 6mm Allen wrenches
6" and 10" Adjustable wrench (or open end set of metric flat wrenches)
7" flat edge screw driver
hammer

* Chaingaurd is nice to have though it is plastic so am leary it will break off over time. Wish it were medal.

* We took some of the stickers off the bike (personal preference). Easier now than later when the stickers become even more adhesive and brittle from the sun and air. Easy to peel.

* Note only reflectors are on pedals so will be installing front and back wheel reflectors and upper reflectors for safety.

* You can adjust the angel of the handel bar to the cyclist.

* White wall tires classy. Doesn't show so much dirt like an all white wheel.

* Don't forget to buy a helmet so your child is ready to take off!

this is a cute bike and great paint job great street bike and rides good on grass easy to handel. but beware if you put this together yourself the front tire is very hard to put on had to hit the front fork a couple of hard hits with the hammer and a bend later and the wheel is on other then that the bike took 10 mins to put together very easy after getting front wheel on.

Bike looks good and I am sure my daughter will love it. The bad, there was ZERO grease on the bearings in the rear/front wheel or the crank. The assembly was simply enough though a quick spin of the peddle and I could already hear the metal grinding. Good thing I didn't put my active 5 year old on it or something would have given out almost immediately. I have to tear apart both wheels to pack the bearings with grease, as well as the crank. Not what I expected from Toys R Us, or an Australian made product.

The bike replaced one she received from Santa that got stolen, so disappointed to find out it had gone up in price $25 from when it was bought before Christmas

We bought this for Christmas for our 5 yr. old daughter. After shopping around quite a bit online and in person we decided on this bike primarily because of the price, and the design was girly, but not super girly. I didn't want to get her a character themed bike that she would hate in 3 months. The only problem we had with the bike assembly was the front wheel was a pain to get on and in doing so we scratched the paint a bit. Totally our fault, but I wish the wheel hadn't been so hard. After that, assembly was a snap. She loves it and it fits her perfect, plus gives her a little room to grow.

We got this bike for my 2 1/2 year old for Christmas and its perfect for her! Not too girlie or princess and she had to have a blue bike so when I saw this I was so excited!
She rides the bike great she's about 38" tall
The box came a little beat up but the bike was in perfect condition and my husband had no problems putting it together.
Shipping was fast and free!
