My daughter loved this swing and so did i as a newborn, she'd fall asleep in it all the time. The lights, the canopy its beautiful but this swing says it can go to 25 lbs. My daughter is currently 16 pounds and it moves an inch to the left and right barely. And now she has been able to grab the mobile and not let go and it jams. In my opinion this swing needs some revisions for older babies. It has brand new batteries in it too. I will be calling customer service to let them know and if anything can be done.

I just bought this for my 3 month old. She had a plain swing that was used that we were having problems with. She liked that one, but she loves this one! Wish I had it since day one, especially for comfort reasons the design of the seat and the cushion around her head, but she is also so intrigued by the lights. I sometimes have to sleep in the living room because she will cry if I get her out! She plays and sleeps in it. My older child and I keep joking they should make one for adults because we want one! She always uses the cradle but I can't figure out how to get it to the swing setting. Best invention ever for babies in my opinion! Not just for baby, but for a mom's sanity!

Although the product is very nice to look at, it dosent perform that well. I would use this to put my daughter in to keep her busy for a minute or two, or for her to take a nap in. the motion an speed that this swing moves is very poor. the dial that is on the swing that is susuposed to speed it up dosent work! the slowest and fastest speed are unoticeable. I guess slow means it dosent move and fast means snail speed.

This swing is beautiful and my daughter loves laying and sleeping in it. However, about 4mo after using it the swings motor went out. I am going to bring it back to babies r us and see if they'll allow me to exchange if for the same item or something of equal or lesser value. My friend purchased the same type of swing, Fisher Price Cradle 'n Swing, and she had the exact same issue. My daughter was well within the weight requirements for the swing. She was 14lb when the swings motor went out and my friends daughter was as well. Maybe its just a coincidence but we'll find out when I get the new swing.

My daughter was born in May 2012 and we use this swing ALL the time. She sleeps better in it than anywhere else. She is now 8 months old, but when she was 6 months, she got a bad cold and was horribly congested for a month. I put her in the swing to sleep at night so that she stayed slightly elevated and she slept very well, even while sick. Two days ago, the motor quit working. I did a live chat with someone from Fisher-Price and they are sending a replacement motor. Their customer service was great! They said I should receive the brand new (not refurbished) motor in about a week. The swing could use a better, stronger motor. Other than that, I am very happy with this product and so is my baby!

This was the best swing ever!!! So sad that my lo is 6 months old and can no longer use it as she loved it so much..

I love this swing & so does my baby girl! A friend purchased it for my daughter before she was here yet. She seems comfortable in it & she LOVES the mobile with the lights!! It does take up a good bit of space but it's not too bad. The head rest can't be taken out but you can move it around which is fine with me. It is easy to get the cover off to clean & yes you do have to push it a little to get the swing started. lol I thought it was funny that someone complained about that!! All in all it is an awesome swing that my daughter loves & that is what matters the most to me!
