My husband and I were first time parents 18 months ago and had no idea what carrier to register for. There are about a million different ones and we were pretty lost. We figured the only way to make a decision was to try them ALL out. So we ended up trying the ergo, ergo 360, original baby bjorn, lillibaby complete, moby, ring sling, baby katan and a sling by seven slings. Here's what we loved/didnt like about each. Original ergo: LOVED the pocket. Hated that baby couldn't face out and see the world when she was older. Ergo 360: I really loved it but it was much harder for me to put on and take off because the ergo uses buttons instead of the clips like those used on the baby bjorn. Also, the baby bjorn one felt a little sturdier to me. Finally, we liked the baby bjorn one more because we didn't need a separate newborn insert like you need for the ergo. Baby katan: didn't feel sturdy to me. And it stretched out the longer I wore it so I felt like baby wasn't really secure. Original baby bjorn: we loved it because it was a little smaller than the One but we really liked the waist strap on the one so the babies weight is evenly distributed. Moby wrap: wayyyy to much fabric! Too hot for the south and too much of a learning curve for me. I wanted something easier to put on and take off. Lillibaby complete: too bulky for me and I found it difficult to take on and off alone. Seven slings: NO stretch. Didn't look comfy for baby and definitely wasn't comfy for me. Long story short, the baby bjorn one felt sturdiest to us, we loved the clips versus buttons, it wasn't complicated to put on and take off, and it was the most comfortable to wear. Also, it fit my husband and I both really well even though he is 6'4 and I'm 5'2. It was VERY easy to adjust for our respect We now have an almost two year old and we still hike with her in the baby bjorn one. Expecting baby #2 and excited to be able to use this carrier from the start with no need for a newborn insert!

I bought this from a yard sale. I needed something easy to put on by myself. I like that I can do this without assistance. My daughter is 4 1/2 mo & 14 lb and seems very content in it!I just wish it was a little more supportive for my back. I can only wear it for about 1/2 hour. I also think her legs should be out wider for her hips. But for on the go for shopping it's really good!

Comments about BabyBjorn Cotton Mix Baby Carrier - Silver Mesh:
I got this as I just wanted a simple carrier that was approved for the hips. I found that this was the best way for me to be able to do "jobs" around the house again like vacuuming as bubs likes the sound and I hate dust but I couldn't work out a way before this. He falls asleep on walks in it too so actually that's the best use when I can't get him to sleep any other way ( car has opposite effect).I also got the cover as it's autumn here now with cold mornings and that is really good once I watched the video and worked out how to correctly fit it...
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This carrier is the ONE! Perfect for use from new born to toddler. I've tried three carriers, this one is adjustable and comfortable for parents and baby.

People told me to try wraps. What a waste of time and money! The baby bjorn fits me and my husband and baby likes it too!
Fits well, but could be improved

About Me Active, First Time Parent, Working Parent
I have a smaller frame and hard a hard time finding a good carrier that fit me comfortably. This one works ok for me when baby is on my front, but I have to tighten the shoulder straps as far as they'll go, and I wish they would tighten an inch more! Also, it is VERY difficult to use the baby-on-back option. The strap that holds the shoulder straps together needs to have a releasable clasp. Also, for me, the shoulder straps need to be tighter when baby is on back. His center of gravity is too low, so I constantly feel like I have to lean forward. Not comfortable! Please improve.

We had a few baby carriers as options that we'd researched and actually hadn't gone into the shop with this one on our list. However, after trying on a few different ones we felt this was the most comfortable for both us and our baby. It also offered everything we needed regarding longevity!
Easy to use!

My husband and I love this carrier. It is simple to change the size back and forth from him wearing to myself wearing. It is lightweight and comfortable as well.
Not adjustable to mom's size

About Me First Time Parent, Working Parent
my husband (1.83m) has no issue although he is big builded and all belts are at maximum, but im small with 1.63m and 60kg and the sizes cant be adjusted to my length, the hip belt and carry part fold over eachother since my rump is just not that tall.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Excellent for public transport!

Used daily for our commute to nursery, so much easier to use than a wrap sling, used from 8 weeks onwards. Absolutely love it!

About Me First Time Parent, Stay at Home Parent
Adjustable, especially good for both parents, I am small and my husband is big, but we both can adjust it for our body sizes, this I find very useful! Good quality and 3 positions possible, for our girl the front position is most desirable and fun!
