We had planned on ordering one of the wooden gliders, but after we sat in them in the store, we decided to go with this one. The wooden ones just weren't comfortable at all, as you could feel the wood against your back under the padding. They only had the brown one in the store in this style which we didn't like, so we ordered this color online, along with the matching ottoman.

I can't tell you how happy we are with our purchase. Its really great to be able to climb up in this chair and relax while holding our newborn. The gliding motion puts her right to sleep.

Our chair is very quiet. Others must've had bad chairs. Only time that you can hear anything is if you rock it really hard. Highly recommended.

Also, re shipping, our ottoman arrived in about 3 days and our chair in 6 days.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The color of this chair is great. It's the CHAIR that is the problem. After waiting 8 weeks for it to arrive at the store, my husband picked it up today. After waiting forever at customer service, he was finally assisted and brought it home tonight. The glider part on the bottom of the chair is bent! So the chair GRINDS it's way back and forth on a serious angle, it is broken! When I immediately called the store, their only solution was for us to drive it all the way back over and order another one...which would take another 8 weeks! Terrible customer service!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
