Through my insurance, I got a free Ameda Free Style Pump and the storage bags. I have tried about every type of milk storage bags, and I think this one is the worst. No matter how many times I check and recheck the bag when I close it, there is always milk that leaks from the top of the bag. Since these bags are free, I keep using them. I just always add tape to the top of the bags. The pouring spout is a nice tough.

I used these bags along with the Ameda double electric pump and these bags do the job! They seal tightly after you are done pumping, and the pour spout prevents losing the liquid gold! I would recommend!

I have not used the bags attached to the pump yet, but it is easy and neat to pour my milk from the bottles into one bag. They are easy to organize and take up minimal room on my freezer door.

Despite what others are saying, the bags DO NOT leak. I've been using them for 3 months and have had no problems. The other users are likely not making sure they feel the zipper locking and are assuming. They are sealed tightly with no leaks if you are using them correctly.

I love these storage bags! They are so much better than Medela, or Lasinoh. The pour spout makes it easy to dispense the milk without wasting. If you are an uncoordinated person, maybe you'll have issues like others have mentioned. I have had no problems with leakage or opening the bags. They are ziplock type bags people. Make sure the ziplock is closed across the top and you won't have leakage issues....even if you do store them lying flat. You don't have to worry about spilling when you open the bag because you just cut a slit and pour out, unlike other bags where you have to pry open the ziplock portion and milk can splash out.

I agree that the measurements are way off, but that's why bottles and even the pump bottles have oz markings on them...so I don't know why you'd really need accurate measurements. Just write the number of ounces on the bag in the space provided.

I bought this mainly to get the flange adapters for my Ameda breast pump. The adapters are awesome! But, the bags are not that great. I like that the bags have a tear and pour spout feature. But the bags leak because the zip close section does not secure properly, no matter how careful you are. Also the labeled amounts never add up to what I actually pump. I think it is the way the bag is designed. So, I just end up cutting a slot in the top of my Lansinoh bags like many other moms.

I was glad to get the starter kit with the adaptor to pump directly into the bag - less clean up than pumping into bottle and pouring into bag. I continue to buy the bags and use them almost every day. I have never had trouble with leaks.

The zip seal on these bags is awful - no matter how many times you seal and re-seal, they still leak if you dont have them 100% upright. But then they don't store as well as they could if you could lay them flat. I am sure I am going to have leakage issues when we thaw these and am going to be really frustrated if I have a lot of wasted milk for that reason. Also, the measurement guides on the bag are totally off base.

If you don't buy the starter kit you don't get the attachment to pump right into the bags and without that attachment it's hard to pure the milk into the bags. The ounce measurements on the bag are highly inaccurate and they don't stack well for storage. The zip-lock seems to leak on some of the bags, so you can't lay them flat, must keep them up right. I'm not happy with them at all.

I got these thinking that it would be great to have the nice pour spout. However, that one pro doesn't outweigh the cons. The ounce measurements on the bag are highly inaccurate. They do not thaw as nicely from frozen either (the milk did not mix well; there were milkfat chunks that could come out of the bag). Lastly, they don't stack well for storage. I was very disappointed and couldn't wait to use them up so I could move on to another brand.
